heh, yeah it got bad reviews...
big problem = controls.
cant move with a gun out...
cant move camera while moving.
but its cell, so i wont complain.
graphics are decent and i havent gotten enough into the story to tell if its good or not, it starts out with him visiting his daughters grave, so im hoping it doesnt ruin any of double agent for me, pretty cool if it just adds to it.
id have to say judge for yourself or wait until i get a chance to play it more and ill post back... all i know is i have been waiting since day 1 to play this game. i dont think there is a single game that doesnt work besides 2.7 games now... rock on 1.5

All i can say is that sony must be pissed that 1.5 can now play ALL the current games lol. Thought at some point id have to buy the new mod chip, guess not. Screw the new chip, looks like the 1.5 will have all the capabilites as the current firmware, including wifi!!! Long live the 1.5 (i know, lame as hell) LOL!!!!

.... another speed bump.. or brick wall...
keeps freezing at a certain point where guards come out and catch you... sam just stands there and makes those motions characters do if you dont touch the controller after a minute or so...
home button works, but nothing else... i wonder how far this game was tested with the rip kit?

That sucks, hope its not the prx's acting up. Hopefully the their not the problem. Mayb the Street Rider prx's will work better....Anybody????

My guess would be that the ripkit is actin up.
I got a question. I've been booting the ISO of GTA on 1.5 using the MPH Game Loader and now I wanna be able to boot it up in Devhook. Do I have to change the PRXs back to 2.0 or modify it to allow it to boot in Dev?

no, use the cso converter. It converts .dax to .cso, enabling u to load ur gta iso on the new dev hook release;) If u dont have a .dax compressed iso og gta, it should still work, although i dont know the exact settings needed to boot gta, havent tried it yet (BoF 3 kicks ass on psp!!!!)

Yea, I remember when I was 5-7 years old and we had dial-up. HOLY CRAP. It was like watching a fat guy run a marathon, it just aint gonna happen.

Hi i have just seen this wonderfull program and i want some questions answered please :D
1. If i download this what other programs will it need i have MPH Gameloader and UMD Emulator.
2.Where can i get the MX vs ATV sound fix from?
3. Is the program complicated? How do you work it?

Prx's from any 1.5 games will make any 2.6 game bootable on dev hook. We got splinter cell running yesterday using the full set of battlefront 2 prx's;)

but it froze at a specific cutscene... i think because of the battlefront prx files... i hope i dont have to spend all day looking for these!

How far into the game would it freeze??? Understandable if it freezes at the beginning, but if its later into the game, kinda doubt its the prx's causing this. Hard to tell, might be the rip kit also, theres a reason why the game is a gig smaller after using the kit......

well.. the thing is... its one of those cutscene (the first of is kind in the game) where its actual in game graphics, but it shows the text of what the 2 guys are saying .. like i said.. the first time it happens in the game.. maybe its calling for a specific prx and not getting it.

Hey look on ps2nfo.com front page they updated the device thing with something to do with the kd folder that lets u play 2.6 now. But i dont know what to do to install but its .41a, and im using .40 not .41.
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present. |
