That's funny. As he said before, as long as you search your problem and still can't get it to work, you're fine asking questions and getting help.

Edit: Stang hold down this forum. I'm out for the night, hopefully. Party Hard dawgs.

Hey i am trying the DevHook and i believe everything is in the correct directory. The "dh" goes in the root and the "PSP" folder goes to the games then it comes to the 4 folders the "Devhook" and the "dh_install" including their "%'s" do i run the dh_install first then run the Devhook? I checked out the dh_install but didn't feel like bricking my PSP. I run the Devhook first with the common directions used from http://pspupdates.qj.net/category/Firmware/cid/57

"Go to the Boot Select Menu and choose "Reboot XMB"
In the Firmware Menu and select "2.50 + 2.00"
Next go to UMD Version and make sure it is on "2.xx -> 2.00"

(optional) Overclock the PSP to "333mhz"
Finally, in UMD Mount, select "UMD Disk"
Return to the Device Hook Main Menu and click "Start"

Just everytime i do it, it comes out with the same result within 10-15 seconds then it will crash. Please help me if you can I just don't want to brick my PSP if i go further with the DevHook, just need better instructions, thank you

Aright one more question. Im using umdGEN and im swapping the prx files with the ones u gave the link to. But there is not a replacement for all the prx's is that ok? And when i am done replacing the prxs, do i go to save for my new iso? I tried but it took long and froze and it said it was 2.8 gb. I dunno if thats supposed to happen. This is for the game Daxter.

Yes, its fine that there are a few that cannot be replaced. When u are done, just his save, and that will make u a new iso. I personally havent had those problems cause my Daxter was ripped to 500MBs, and all i had to do was swap the prx's. Try it on umd emu or dax first, then try to get it going on devhook.

Please do a forum search.....this keeps getting asked and keeps getting answered......swap the prx's and it will work. I put a link a page or so back with a link to some prx's from street rider's, if u use those as the replacement prx's, it will boot fine using the default settings in devhook:) Sorry if im being rude, just the same question keeps being asked....

Ok after replcaing the prx's on Daxter, i saved it (it lagggggged the shit outta my pc) i went to transfer to my psp and it was 2.8 gb. Is the file size suposed to increase that much after swapping prx's. My original Daxter is 411 Mb, so thats y i am wondering the drastic increase in file size. I cannot fit 2.8 gb on my pro duo =(
