Theres no real difference, hust find the prx's in ur iso, usually there is a module and kmodule folder, and swap them out.

Hey again,
this morning i rebuilt my iso, and replaced every .PRX file i could, i put the rebulit iso into the ISO folder on the ROOT OF MY MEMEORY STICK, i open up DEVHOOK, and select the FIFA WORLD CUP ISO the settings are as follows
TARGET : <REBOOT xmb>
UMD-ISO : MS0:/ISO/FIFA World Cup 2006.iso
UMD-MODE: ISO ANYUMD
UMD Ver.: no change
FLASH : Mms0:/200(NANDFlash)
CLOCK : 236/133
but then when i press 'X' it says
"CANT LOAD/START DEVHOOK"
can anyone help me out with this?

Iv changed the UMDVer to 2.XX -> 2.00
and its still saying CANT LOAD/START DEVHOOK
does my firmware have to be 2.00
because mine at the moment is 1.50

Ok, i really dont see what the problem is then,
im going to rebuild the iso again, and see if it works then.
Has anyone on this thread managed to get FIFA WORLD CUP to work?

yeah, iv replaced every .prx file i can, but still saying
CANT LOAD/START DEVHOOK
im reading around and trying to find out more
found a great link, i dont think i have put devhook on my psp porperly

Ok, what i have done now is, iv totally removed any part of DEVHOOK on my psp, and started again, using the guide on the link i posted on my last thread

i am now able to start it but when i do, i get taken to my PSPs HOME,
i check my system information and it says its running on FIRMWARE 2.50,
but from my PSPs HOME how do i load up the ISO now?

hey, i installed the device hook 0.4l, everything is working except the ISO games. I have been doing alot of researches on the web and they say that with the new device hook 0.41, u can play the latest ISO like the WWE, socom US and etc. how does the ISO games work on the device hook since if the device hook is activated into fireware 2.5. and all the loaders are corrupted. o yea. why when i put device hook 0.41 into my psp system, it's showing device hook 0.40. Is it just my psp or what?
any help will be appreciated!!!

Ok, im sorry guys if you think im spamming this forum i dont mean to be, i am making some progress though.

and i applied the MEETJOEBLACK PATCH to an untouched ISO
i put the iso on my psp,and load the DEVHOOK programme
I am using these settings:
UMD Select: FIFA World Cup 2006
UMD Mount: ISO ANYUMD
Firmware: 2.50+2.00
Boot Select: Reboot XMB
UMD Version: 2.XX -> 2.00
CPU Clock: 333 MHz / 166 MHz.
i am now actually able to start the loader,
the PSP will restart its self but then i get a message saying
"This game cannot be started.
The data is corrupted."
how can i fix this?

and dont worry "johncchc" it says DEVHOOK 0.40 on my psp aswell, so i think its normal and not just our two PSPs,
and i am sorry, but i dont know enough on this loader to help you out with your questions

Alright, this is gonna be a long post, so bear with me:
@Josh
The iso;s will not work when u are phsically on the 2.5 browser. If u ever boot a game and does not automatically load, sometging went wrong. Everything reads corrupt on the 2.5 browser because the 2.5 is being emulated, and everything on ur psp is for version 1.5, not 2.5, and hence wont work. Also, the only thing that is going wrong after applying the patch on FIFA is the prx's u are using. Thak you for the compliment:)

It is normal for ur psp to show .40 even if u have .41 The only exception is if u get a fix or install .41d, then it will read correctly in ur psp's browser. Like i told Josh, u CANNOT load games from the 2.5 browser, it must be done on the 1.5 browser, and then emulation begins and the iso loads automatically. Again, u SHOULD NEVER have to navigate the 2.5 browser (unless u want to go on the net). If u boot a game and are taken to the browser,either ur boot settings are incorrect or ur iso needs some sort of a patch.

first of all, thank you josh and svtstang for replaying back to me. svtstang, the information that u posted was kinda vague. i didnt quite understand what u mean by instead of emulating the loader in 2.5 you can use the 1.5 browser to emulated it?? how can there be a browser in 1.5. the only browser that is avaible in psp is in fireware 2.0 and higher. but if you used the device hook 0.40 to activate fireware to 2.5, all of the loaders will be corrupted. svtstang, do u have a step by step website by any chance that can teach me how to do it based on what you said.
josh, how did u get the Devhook 0.40 to detect the ISo game. when i clicked on my devhook, and clicked on select UMD, i couldnt find any ISO game. i placed all of my ISO games on the ISo folder that is on the root of the memory stick. can u show me step by step as to how u put your ISO games in your memory stick, or any necessary changes that has to be made. Anyway, thanks for the time and effort u have putted into helping me guys!!! please keep me updated.

I did not mean web browser, i meant the the default browser when u turn on ur psp. You cannot load iso's on the 2.5 browser (again, not talking about the interent) because u are using 1.5 apps. Devhook emulate 2.5 flash, that is how it works. Also u said u had a folder named ISo in the root of you mem stick, it should be ISO. All you do is drag any iso, iso.dax or iso.cso into the ISO folder and every loader will recognize it. If u need step by step directions, its no biggie, just let me know if ur gonna be around for awhile.

yea i am here, the ISO works on every loader except the DEV hook 0.40. for some reason, the loader couldnt detect the ISO. i tried compressing the original ISO into .DAX and etc. but it seems that none of it works. is it just my psp or what?? i have an aim messanger and a msn messanger. if you want to add my aim sn, it's johncchc. i am on most of the time. maybe you can teach me step by step over the messanger. that would be hot!!! thanks!!!

yo guys u no on the first page of this tread the person who started this tread says that devhook can load gta lcs but when i tried it jus went black on black screen it wasnt jammed cause i could goto home but it just wouldnt work

@johncchc,
if you are having problems detecting your iso using devhook 0.40 maybe you should try some of these.
1. Make sure the iso folder in the root of your memory stick, is named in capitals (e.g ISO, it wont work if you have it as iso).
2. Try totally deleting the ISO folder, and putting it on your PSP again. Then put the ISO in that folder again.
3. Try extracting the ISO again, and then placing it in the ISO folder.
hope one of them 3 works out for you,
and if your still puzzled about how to get the ISOs to load using DEVHOOK 0.40 read this:
Devhook 0.40 is practically a piece of software you put on your psp to trick it into thinking its FIRMWARE 2.50, so you can load just about any PSP game you want( providing that youv sorted out all the .PRX files, or put a patch if necessary ).
You should not be worrying about all of your other loaders not working if youv used DEVHOOK 0.41 and now your PSP is FIRMWARE 2.50 because if you do everything properly DEVHOOK 0.41 will load the game itself, you will not need to use any other loader, if you have done everything else correctly.
Hope that helped you understand the laoder a bit better.
