i got the internet browser to work. this is what i did. ok first I upgraded my device hook to 0.40C which supports the 333 mhz wiFI. second i went to the network update and i clicked on scan now and choose my connection, after that, I chose manual and it wil go the screen where it asks me if i want to use proxy setting,i clicked no then on the next screen it asks me if i wanted to startup my internet browser after the connection, i clicked yes. then i saved my new connection. now that i have setup my connection. i am using the connection i setup to connect to the network. after it's connected, instead of asking me to download the firmware 2.71 update package, it bypass it. instead it opens my internet browser. lolz, then when i'm done with the internet browser i just close it, and the update thing will ask me then. this was a amazement accomplishment i made. ^-^
ok that's being said, what i need help now is that when i go to the website called youtube, i cant seem to watch video clip because it said i need a later version of macromedia player. since i am using my psp to run the internet browser, do u guys know where i can get the latest version of macromedia for my psp. i really want to watch online video clips on my psp...

You can't. The PSP doesn't support Macromedia, yet.

Arrgh I hav more problems again :( Well I managed to get the dev loadergoing with the demo UMD and when i try and boot the GTA iso all i get is a black screen then it evently turns off I have had the same iso working using the old MPH game loader version 1.1 and i know for a fact this iso does infact work. I also have a feeling that this iso has been modifyed to use the MPH game loader what is it im doing wrong here? Could it be an .iso problem or possibly me? The settings i am using are as follows: <reboot xmb> 2.5 firmware boot (also tryed 2.0), Clock at 333,and all other settings are standard. And also is it possible to rip the UMD direct to your PC? I have also tryed to apply a patch to the iso off ps2 nfo and it seems to be that there is a mismatch in size and my iso appears to be smaller for some reason?

Try setting the boot option to reboot UMD intead of rebooting XMB. If that doesnt work, change the flash settings to 1.5(flash) and try reboot UMD

I have tryed the version 1.5 set and it insists that i upgrade to 2.00. As for the UMD boot does that effect the fact that i dont have the GTA UMD?

No, i use the demo UMD. I just read that an unotuched iso is needed to boot GTA, and like you said, your iso has been modified for MPH, so if you re-patch the iso with the original gta prx's it will be fine, or just get a new iso.

i have a problem wit initial d street stage (jap). i replaced the prx's with the one from dbz. i took out the movie to make it less than 1 gb with umd ripper and umd generator. the prx's are not capitalized; does that matter? i can get to the XMB but it says "To start, you must update system settings" or something like that. I also took out the "UPDATE" folder in PSP_GAME/SYSDIR. do u need that to run it?
i put the contents of MP_ROOT all into my ms root but the X folder doesnt have any files in them. anywhere partiular to download those files?
the settings i am using are:
UMD MOUNT : ISO anyumd
UMD VERSION : 2.xx -> 2.00
FIRMWARE : 1.50 (flash)
CPU CLOCK : 222/100
BOOT SELECT : reboot XMB

@andrew,
your settings are way off. The X folder is not necessary, you only need it hen you use UMD Emu RunUMD edition, so dont worry about that. ont rip files or relink them if you are not sure what you are doing either. My initial d is 623MBs, and all i did was compress it with Ciso utility. Max compression will shave off like 500MBs, so just do that, dont relink or delete anything. Also, change your Flash setting to 2.5, and it will work properly.

No problem man:)
Use the ISO->CSO opition, and set the compression level to 8 or 9, your choice, just depends how many MBs you are looking to save.

Those just affect how mch the iso will be compressed. 9= max compression, while 1(I beleive 1 is the lowest on Ciso) is the least compression. I usuall compress my iso's between 7-9. Its up to you, but max compression on Initial D is good for about a half gig, not bad at all!!
