Issues with DVD Shrink 3.2

I tried searching and didn't find anything relevant to the problem I've been having. I have been backing up my movies for a while now by using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink 2.3. I ran into sony's arccos protection so I upgraded DVD Shrink to 3.2. Since doing that all of the movies will get garbled at about 2/3rds through the movie and skip a lot, finally freezing. I haven't changed media and everything else I burn with the burner works great. It's just DVD's that the problem exists with. Any suggestions?

All new movies have new encryption and you need to update to AnyDVD that breaks all the encryptions.

You do not need to get AnyDVD to break the new protections. You are using DVD Fab to rip the movie onto your HDD, run files through VOB Blanker, then take new VOB file and run through DVD Shrink and burn with your burn engine.

I don't have a problem burning movies with the protection. It happens with older movies too that don't have sony's protection. The action mimics a scratch on the DVD and it happens in the exact same spot on every DVD. I have thuroughly looked at each of the discs I have tried and there are no scratches because the discs are brand new.

Your problem is usually one of two things (sometimes both). Burning too fast (don't burn any faster than 1/2 the rated speed of your media), or using crappy media (basically anything not made in japan). What brand of media are you using and how fast are you burning?

Spend the money and get AnyDVD & CloneDVD....its well worth the $$.

I already know the media I am using is not top quality. I am using Dynex DVD's because my dad works for Best Buy and since it is their brand they are basically half the price. I have backed up many of my Xbox games on them and they work perfect, and movies worked perfect with the discs using DVD Shrink 2.3 and then burning the files using Nero 6. After I switched to DVD Shrink 3.2 though the problem has come about. I could be wrong but if the media was working great before why would it all of a sudden stop working with 3.2. It actually doesn't stop working because it works great up until the 2/3rds mark. The burning speed is 4x and the discs are rated to 16x.
