I found a frogram to fix Most/all problems with dvd shrink (cyclic redunduncy check, invalid dvd source, all that crap)Sonyt even fixes the new dreaded SONY ARccOS protected dvd's.....

the program is called "AnyDVD" www.slyfox.com

free 3 week trial, or download it from some file sharing program.

Very easy to use, just insert dvd, open anydvd program, then run dvd shrink as usuall! ! ! best program out yet ! ! !

LOL... that is all.

EDIT: EVERYONE knows about this program on the board... sorry to burst your bubble. By the way, don't condone piracy on here or you'll be gone. And it's www.slysoft.com... not slyfox... lol again.

You should probably remove the part from your post concerning the downloading from a file sharing program.

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

Free..........I like free.........

DVD shrink has always worked for me. Granted, it has to be combined with other software to make it manageable.

Smileys must die!

Any of you guys know how old AnyDVD is anyways? I've only been using it for like 6 months.

Always use good quality blank media. Verbatim is always a good call. Don't be seduced by those 50-spindles you find in the $2.99 bin at your local car wash! :)

From AnyDVDs information window, it was copywritted in 2003, so I guess it's at least 3 years old.
