putting mini series onto one dvd with shrink

i am trying to put a mini series that totals about 8 hrs onto one dvd with shrink but it is not compressing it down any further than 6757 mb. target is 4360 mb. what am i doing wrong

IMHO trying to compress 8 hours to a single layer 2 hour DVD disk is way too much compression and your quality will be really bad. However, if you feel you want to do this compress your file once and then run that file back through Shrink a second time. If this does not work then it is just too much compression for Shrink.

DL discs are quite cheap to what they use to be just buy a DL disc and use dvddecrypter in iso read then iso write to put onto a disc, that way you get a 1:1 copy of the original.

If you cant get a DL disc try using clonedvd2 http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html you get a 21 free day trial and see if that works.

These have to be episodic files, even if you use a DL disk you would still have to compress it to fit.
