I already took those back to Best Buy for a refund. When I saw they were Sony "House Brand" so to speak, even though they are labeled Made in Japan, I promptly took them back & easily got a refund. They were so "slack" on the return, they didn't even look & see if they were all there, or even the correct media. They were open too! Heck, they just looked at my receipt, gave me my money back & I was "Hopping Away" Happily! They are very "Laid Back" in this place.
One member reported that Circuit City would not price match Best Buy's AD on the Sonys last week. They gladly do that here. Long as you have BBs AD in hand, it's easy as pie!
I did see something weird while there. I saw 1 Sony 50 pack spindle of DVD+R 8X MIJ with the white octagonal spacer. DVD+R 8X! :0

those are the YUDEN000T02s that both you and i have grown to LOVE! LOL, seemingly, much more difficult to find locally across the nation @ Best Buy stores, but more readily available for pricematch @ Circuit City and the B&M stores that still carry older stock~ :)

p.s. i've noticed that Best Buy gets "wiped out" far more quickly than the other stores when it comes to media, i'm sure their many locations and frequent sales has a part to do with it~ they also replensish their supply with the newer 16x rated media faster...gotta find those "gems" in the 8x rated ones hidden away somewhere, that's what i usually do when i go to the stores locally when searching for media~ :)

ty533- Thanx I think With SAMSCLUB ( SAMS) it kinda depends where you live - On what DVD media they have in store! Like at the Sams near me ( Baton Rouge la. ) They have Verbatims - 16x , Sony's (75 pack 50 &25- 25pk. is MIJ , 50 pk. is Taiwan) , and Maxells 75pk.s But with Sams it can vary from week to week or month to month atleast although here they seem to keep the verbatims in stock ! But hey ! ty533 thanx again for the info! Sams does'nt throw media sales as often as the Big boys - Bestbuy , Officedepot ,CircuitCity ect... But when they do it's worth it ! also ty533& friends You can often get really good deals on media at sams by looking in the Clearance area /Section or as my wife calls it the OOPS ! rack . Often times they'll have really good deals on DVD media in that area simply because they're down to the last few ! or maybe more often cause the shrink wrap is torn ! Normally no disc are used or missing or broken or used either ! & while I like pristine packaging as much as anyone if It's cheaper & otherwise the same Product I say go for it ! I'm gonna tear the wrapper off anyway ! Besides if the wrapper being torn bothers Me too much my wife has a FOODSAVER Vacuum packaging system so I could make them airtight or nearly so ! ty533 Thanks again & happy shopping CIAO!
