Alright peeps here at AD before i start i want to wish all future testers good luck because at the end of the day i aint brave enought to risk my psp lol call me a FeErTy if u like but thats life. So anyway is there any1 out there that knows of a site or a rought estimates of success and brick figures.

no i dont know of success rates - but you can take it from me (a dedicated and knowledgable PSP owner)
that the chance of bricking your PSP is erm well slightly hard

you cnat really go wrong
BTW done 3 today - no problems untill someone (just b4 downgrade attempt) said that it was 2.5 when he bought it

Ohright i see well the thing is mines is a 2.5 when i bought it as well , would u see that as a high increase in brick rate or what mate?

from what ive read your psp must be upgraded to 2.5 or 2.6 then downgraded. it will almost be certain to brick if you downgrade your factory 2.5. so you will have to upgade to 2.60 then back down to 1.5 :)

OK right i see well i got a 2.6 anyways i was just saying that it came factory set as a 2.5 i think anyways not 100% as it was off ebay coz i wanted the white 1 n at the time they werent avaiable in uk yet. but anyways i read that a guy downgraded his 2.6 white psp successfully , plus that theres a 211 success rate and 10 brick rate on pspupdates they started a poll. Do you guys know when the final version will b released?

Oright so basicly you just wanna let this run on a little so let the results get a little more reliable and plus when the final version gets released hope somewhere along the line thats theres gonna be a slight chance of a brick. The Up Creators must hate Dark Alex lol HaHA

yes thats right. im not brave enough to risk the brick of his psp. he would go mad on me lol. the makers of UP could love dark alex as well as hate him because some downgrades turn to bricks and people are going to buy the modchip to un brick it.lol

lol yeah true but so far it looks like there gonna loose customers than gain them going by the pspupdates poll 211:10 lol, yeah same here my girlfriend bought me it as a christmas present and she went mad when i told here i was gonna sell it and buy a 1.5 lol so that plan never got put into action lol been waitn since xmas with my 2.5 for a downgrader lol did you downgrade your psp to a 1.5 or was it factory set at that ?

nope shes a virgin lol. i was browsing ebay one day, saw a cheap psp, and i bidded on it wasnt planning on winning it, but what do you know i did lol. im almost positive mines a virgin because it only came with 1 umd and it required 1.5 firmware. i won it for £100.00 ( about $188) which was mega cheap.

im from wales!!!!! lmao. yes its to do with the certain motherboard. you can check what you have without opening up your psp. i have checked mine and my brothers and they should be ok. the same issue goes for the chip too

lol kool thats what introduced me into this scene really ive been doing ps2 modding for a long time then got this for xmas and ever since ive been curious but not had much time to have a real look into things. You getting the ps3 soon as its released?

i borrow umd's and then make a dump of them. i also bought a few dvd's with iso's on from ebay. but they were mostly japenese rubbish lol.
