Trying to back up One Tree Hill Season 1. Everythign seems to work fine, but when its backing up; I get nothing but black screen. What can I do to fix this. It wont work in my dvd player after its done.

what prog did u use to rip it?
also do u get a blank screen when analysing?
also if u have Nero u could try recode
and what do u mean wont work in dvd player? it wont read and u get an error or it plays and the screen is blank?

Lets see. Using Shrink with AnyDVD in the background. Recode and dvd2 seem to be doing the same thing. And when I put it in the dvd player all I get is a black screen. Tried it again and when shrink is backing it up about 9 percent into it I get the movie preview. Just not used to that taking so long.

so if i understand correctly u r not ripping the dvd to the hdd. maybe u can try that then run it through shrink, and see if that works, also look to see when running thru shrink or Nero at the preview screen to see if it is blank? if it is then don't bother burning the file or folder it makes, because if it is blank when doing the encoding something is wrong, i know u don't have to rip to hdd when running AnyDVD but maybe try that to see if it works that way.
