AS you have seen devhook is more than outdated.There's nothing to do about it.We can't do more than advising people to update to a custom firmware.
And i know how to post,no advice about that needed..

legend999 it's ok to advising people to update to a custom firmware but don't help them in this thread.
Send them to a 3.40 OE custom firmware thread for help.
Scoobybn go to the link in my last post if you want to know what Devhook is and how to use it.(if you update to 3.40 oe you do not need devhook)

Sup people!!! I would like to know if there is any work being done on DevHook to emulate fw 3.4. I know everyone is raving about the 3.4OE-A, but I like DevHook and would personally like to see it continue. Getting fw 3.11 to work on DevHook was easy...could something like that be done with fw 3.4?

You cant use devhook on a 3.xx.. unless you downgrade to 1.5

i think he meant, using devhook to emuate a 3.XX firmware and play games via usb.

can someone please reuplaod those links. the links that are in amitguru's Tutorial on running ISO's via USB on Devhook, Firmware 1.5 ONLY tut they are dead and i really need them to do the procedure

hi everybody....
i just got a PSP and when i checked my homebrew i have both kernel 1.5
and kernel 3.50... can i play downloaded games from torrent with this firmware? do i still need to download devhook program?
by the way, i have downloaded scarface game from torrent. after that, i just copied it and didnt do anything... (i dont have any program like devhook or something)
the game launched but the screen is black in the main menu....
i dont know what should i do....
please tell me ASAP

i think it could be a bad iso. try loading it with devhook, be a litle more clear to us. what firmware do u have right now 3.50 HEN....1.50.. 3.50, tell me because if you are at 1.50 upgrade to a dark alex custom firmware. if you're on 3.50 downgrade to 1.50 and then upgrade to cfw. what fw did you load the iso on, and what did you use.

good to hear arthur. BTW i think it said in the tutorial that there was a complete different guide in the README that showed how to run it with devhook.

i have both firmware 1.50 and 3.50 i can choose each one of these....
i dont really know about the custom firmware because it has been like this since i bought the psp... by the way, i bought the psp in indonesia ( all game consoles in indonesia is hacked already so that they can play pirated game thats why i got the 1.50 already). i used 1.50 when i loaded the iso. i am using torrent

doesn't matter where it's from BTW EDIT THE POST IMMEDIALY OF THE TORRENT SITE, NO LINKING TO TORRENT SITES!! anyways man do u have a mod chip or something, and i dunno about that, i dunt know how to run games on 1.50 unless you use devhook.

1773 try and do what arthur92 did with 3.40 OE and get usbmount103.
fdarryl if you have a OE FW you do not need Devhook.
and you can not have 2 FW's with out a modchip.
if you have a modchip stay with 1.5 and the other update to 3.40 OE.

oohhh... that means i do have a mod chip in my psp....
but a few days ago i downloaded a game from torrent that says the game is for 2.5 FW is there any way that i can play this game??... because most of the game i downloaded are for FW 2.5

please some one help me i had download a torrent for a game then i had setup it py uTORRENT and bit spirit after finish setup the game showed up as win rar file so i extract it all the files of the game had showen up but the icon of the game which make me enter the game was in a folder called iso and the icon of the game which was in the folder was a cso file i do not know now how to play the game please some one help me can any one tell me hpw can i find the icon of the game and play it

just copy the .rar file to ISO folder in your PSP
just tell me if this doesn't work

Hello, I have a similar problem to the post before mine, maybe someone can help us both, Im no noob, ive been in the scene for awhile, I'm in the Guard and I was deployed for over a year to Iraq so i've been out of the scene for a bit and I used to mod PSPs before I went out there, but now I'm trying to downgrade a friends PSP who has 2.70 firmware, and then upgrade it to a new custom OE firmware, is there any way this is possible, I've been searching the forums with no luck, can someone help?

Hello. Reading the thread I did not see a clear answer to this question. I am running firmware 1.5 and am using devhook .52.01 emulating 3.11. How can I emulate 3.30 and 3.40? Can I use this same devhook or is there a newer devhook or is there some other way I am not aware of? Thanks!
