Tutorial on running ISO's via USB on Devhook, Firmware 1.5 ONLY

Quick question guys, I am running Devhook 0.46 and hve downloaded from torrents From russia with love, Battlefront II, and Splinter cell and they all work great with Devhook but it seems like i hit a wall. Any and all other psp games that i have downloaded don't load (2) dif Daxters, Pirates of the caribbean, for example. Is there i way to know before you download them which ones will work with devhook? Also my understanding was that devhook would be able to play all iso's and any other loaders were no longer necessary. I've also heard good things about Daxiso but i have never used it and i worry that installing it would somehow mess up my Devhook.

Gem]n[ you do not need to keep the demo UMD out until devhook reboots back into the normal PSP screen.(I have my UMD in the drive all the time)
danyn it look like you are doing it all Ok.but I think it is the FW files you have are not working.Try to get this full pack at ps2nfo.com PSP_Device_Hook_Sample_Launcher_v0[1].46_With_Mods_FULL
PedoJuco I have Daxziso and DHv46(2.71FW) and all games work Ok.
If a game dose not work for you then it is a bad dump or not untouched.

Thanks, I will download yet another Daxter and see. Could you tell me where i can find an untouched Daxter i have tried torrents, or at least the size that an untouched daxter would be so it is easier to find.

Also, I tried downloading Daxiso from psp-hacks but they don't have the whole thing you're supposed to find some other junk somewhere else (it said google it) and I'm just too new at this to mess around so my question, Where can i download Daxiso (Everything It needs) and a tutorial or something of where to put the stuff, Please Help

No mate ... I decided to buy a cheap game 2day just to test it ... works fine with the game ... demo disc seemed a bit hit & miss ...

Yep that is true ... but when I tried it with a Demo Disc it just froze (at the point when PSP comes up in the middle of the monitor) on the reboot to PSP screen ... seems to work fine with an actual game UMD ... might be just me though :) ...

Wat a minute..........Are you guys saying that using a REAL umd game and NOT just the demo disk will improve the chances of loading a game? Does this apply to devhook 0.46?

I refer as loading from the ms not usb, is there a difference between using the "sampler disk" and an actual Game?

Well, I know 3 people who had problems doing this with the sampler disc and when they got the actual game UMD it worked, anyways what harm is it if you buy the original UMD...? SUpposrt the developers man.

PedoJuco you can try to get a daxziso full pack at ps2nfo.com(but I do not know if they have a full pack of daxziso and it dose not work with all games)They do have a full pack of DHv46 with mods and no mods(Try to get the full DHv46 that works with all games)and edit your posts.(do not make 2 and 2)
Look on the last pages here and you can see how to fix the Daxter you have.
vegeta999 No Homebrews work on Firmware 2.7 to 2.80 and the iso loaders only work on 1.5 Firmware.(DH only works on 1.5 FW psp)

Devhook 0.46 FULL with most mods including 333 mhz boot is present on my guide.

Where is the language german?(on the game or where)
If it's the game then some out riped all the other language out and only has the german.
If it's the psp menu then go to setting and chane the language.

Juan2320 thanks dude, now i already have the Full version of Devhook 0.46 that came with the usb automatic installer so my question is , Will it still be good to get Daxiso also on my psp or will devhook take care of loading all iso's for me? in other words the Daxters that i have and did not load with devhook will they load with daxiso or is it all the same when it comes to loading the iso?
Another question i have Tomb Raider game that instead of being a .iso file it's a .cso That this means it's compressed? cause it is still 1GB.
Amitguru, thanks for your help man, I actually do own a few umd's that i bought but i almost exclusively run them on my other psp the one that i upgraded (not my proudest moment) but believe it or not,that one i actually bought when the psp's first came out and then upgraded it with socom and later trough the web and never new about homebrew till it was too late so i bought another psp to run all the old school stuff and now isos

Devhook v46(2.71FW) will work with all the games.but they have to be untouched(original prx's in the iso)
If daxter is fixed for Daxziso(not daxiso) it has to work with the game you have.(but you have to have the full Daxziso with the FW files it need flash0 and 1)and the x folder.(not all games work with Daxziso and need to be fixed)
you can fix the daxter iso with Street Rider prx's(use UMDgen)so it works with DHv46
Yes if it is a .cso the iso is compressed.(my Tomb Raider is 600mb as .cso with all the other languages riped out)get the ripkit at ps2nfo
What is the FW of your other psp?(you can Downgrad your psp to 1.5 if it is a 2.0 to 2.6)

I followed ur steps but when I reach step 7 I can't get usbhost to detect..I know you posted something like enabling usb in devhook..but how to enable it? There's no option in devhook mod to enable usb?

Well my problem has been resolved, a UMD game alone did the job
devhook should show down the bottom whether its connected to USBhostfs..
so im guessing it is already enabled, if not there is a patch you can download to add the USB component...
there are to many people working on the same project at different instances, so there are so many different versions to choose from making it hard to make use of what has been created... everyone in dev should combine their skills... and one person that has skill in creating proper tutorials!!! imagine the possibilities a world without nubs =p
