I use spider-man 2 as UMD
But still same error. Perhaps my psp is messed up, or sony really did their homework ;s

Is it a spider-man 2 UMD game?(UMD movies do not work)you need a UMD game.
The iso games work for me so it has to work for you.Try to get a new DHv46 full pack.

i used this settings this time and it worked
"These are the settings that load old games.
target: REBOOT UMD
UND_ISO:ms0:/ISO/psp- need for speed most want.iso
UMD-MODE: ISO ANYUMD
Flash:ms0:/dh/150F(nandflash)
UMD Ver.:2.xx-> 2.00

ok, well i went through all of that to the letter and it does work to a point, devhook loads, set all settings, i go to usbhost0:/ select my iso (GTA:LS) - go to "umd" it restarts with a weird message, for some reason it changes my lang? :s
"Das Spiel Konnte Nicht Gestartet Weren (80020148)"
any help please?

That means it's working ... just goto Settings (on your PSP) and change your language to English ...

No, the error means Game cannot be strted but in German, change the language to English and PM me your MSN Ill help you there.

On Replacing the Daxter prx's to work with Devhook 0.46, do i delete and replace all prx's with the ridge racer ones? And should i do the same with any other iso that Devhook won't run?

If you replace the prx's the game wont work.
Load the full iso with fw 2.7.

It will work with replaced prx's
He need to replace the prx's because he has a MPH(old loader)fix game.So he need to fix it for DH.(I did the same thing for my Daxter and GTA)
PedoJuco Only replace the prx's that Daxter has in the iso(do not put all the Street Riders prx's in it)
I use the Street Riders prx's and it work ok.
I do not know it the ridge racer prx's will work(you can try them)
If you use UMDgen you do not need to delete the old prx only drop the new prx's in to the folder that has the old prx's(in UMDgen)and make a new iso.
If you have other games that are not untouched(not working) you can try to replace the old prx's with new prx's on it.(but if it's a untouched game it has to work)DHv46 2.71 FW

Thanks for this magnificent tutorial, I got many games to work now finally.
But: Two questions remaining -
1) Do I have to stay connected with the PC while playing these games??
If I play a game and disconnect the cable from the PC, play a little, and then try to get back to the menu, the PSP does not get there, as the loading LED always blinks and nothing happens until I put the Battery out.
2) Are the ISO files only on the PC and in the memory of the PSP, nothing is on the memory stick? So how can I play games with this DevHook Mod when I do not have any kind of PC next to me?
Kind regards from a newbie, who finally found a working tutorial in this extremely cool board.

I need help with these prx's. I've tried to extract them from ride racers and i set the destination to be a new folder entitled prx on my desktop but nothing shows up. Why?

@Mickblue- U hafta stay connected to the PC with the cable, it will not work and load games further if u disconnect because it is reading the ISO from your PC's HDD, not the PSP's MS.
Like I mentioned the ISO's are present only on the PC's HDD and thats where your PSP reads i from, if u wanna play games on the go, make some memry place on your hopefully 1GB+ stick and put the ISO's in a folder called ISO on the root of your MS!

O.K., This is weird but the only way i could do it was to drag and drop them to my desktop. Anyways I'm still missing 1 prx file that is in Daxter and I could not find in Ridge Raicer, Do i have to hunt down for this prx (cert_loader.prx)elsewhere to create the ISO?

you do not need all the prx's only like 6. you can look in the GTA iso so you know the 6 prx's files that you need from Street Rider(if you can get all of the prx's then try to use them all)

@amitguru: I know that usually you have to have those ISO files in a special folder, but will your DevHook Mod 1.35 with all the explanations in your tutorial work with ISOs on the stick as well, if I only change the UMD Selection?
Edith: Just tried and it worked. One question left: What is your MSN just to be sure if any questions come up again :D Thanks anyway.
