yo guys, i just upgraded to 3.02OE-B from 1.5, instead of trying to fix this problem. cause with the 3.02OE-B you can also play emulators as well i think
you should do that too becuz you can play iso's right from the root of your memory stick, even without devhook. dark_alex's program is gooood :D

I think you missed the point of this.. the point is to bypass the MS instead of switching files/other sticks when you want to do something else

Yeah he missed the point.
This is obviously a problem and yes the IDCHANGER might have triggered that. I, like many others who have a TA_082 modified 3.02oe-b (3.03oe-a) have this problem. No connection to play our ISOs through the USB :( That would have been an awesome thing, until there is a fix... oh well. Still enjoying it and thankful to those who made it happen.

I figured it out, the vendor id is wrong, it has to be changed in the psp.inf file so that the line under [Devices] looks like:
"PSP Type B"=LIBUSB_DEV, USB\VID_6472&PID_01c9
The same has to be done in the usbhostfs.h headerfile. But just when I was about to compile it myself I found an already fixed version by ps2dev.org user llam:
http://jonspage.org/PSP/usbhostfs_PC_TA_082_Win.rar
(this package has the correct driver psp.inf file already as well)
REMEMBER: this is for downgraded ta-82 PSPs ONLY!!

- make sure you have a umd in your psp.
- go to recovery mode, go to configuration, make sure no umd mode is disabled
- then have1 another go

Hello everybody!
I was trying to get my usbhosts working on my pc and I wasn't being able to install the drivers for the "PSP type B". It was always complaining that "Cannot install hardware ... Couldn't find the specified file".
I had even tried several different downloads of the drivers, and tried installing it on a different PC. I could make it work with no problem on another PC, but not on mine.
Until I found this that did the trick:
http://www.ps3news.com/forums/attachment...38&d=1151371277
Now I got it up and running.
Thank you all!

lgv that is the Type B installer. so you can install it before you go in to Devhook.
