another thing guys...unless rockstar are just messing aroudn with the next gta,it's not gonna be london...cuz remember,every new one they release it getz bigger right,well gta3 and gta vice city was just a city,but san andreas was a whole state,so don't you think that teh next gta should be like a couple of states? not just one city like london?

i dont know why they would even thing of london. the getaway has that scene well already.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

Yea true... maybe one map will be London and other maps will be the US or some other place. So then u can spend 10 hours flying a plane across the atlantic....or swim.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

They can make london as big as they like. Just because its not as big as some big states they can now work on putting real detail into the map.
Also there will be:
The west
The south
The east
So who knows what there doing!
Ooo and imagine what there gonna do with the underground!

Theres no telling what city the new gta will be in until some screenshots start showing up. Then on th pictures you see you may be able to tell what time (like year) frame will be and even more so you might be able to tell what city its going to be in Example: a screen shot of a person in gta beside the effile tower. Then of coarse you know its going ot be in Paris. So untill we get sceenshots i think it we will be unable to determin what city(s) it will be in.

look you guys, its gta4..
where was gta 1? liberty city from what i played
where was gta 2? liberty city from what it looks
where was gta 3? liberty city positively
i think its safe to say gta4 will involve liberty city. i would love to have a mix bewteen new york and chicago in the prohibition/depression era. but mafia did that, i dont know if they would now..sadly :(

This is next-gen!! There not gonna keep the map in the same place. That would be stupid. London can be as big as they wanna make it! Think about it ok san andreas was in a "state" but if they called that a city that would have worked too! They could make it the whole friggin united states but the detail would be so bad in each place it would just get annoying! So think about it now they can make it as big/ as small as it need be!
I think London is a great idea. There moving away from there old ways. Becoming a NEXT-GEN game!!
Just my opinion!

They could not do the entire united states.It would be way to hard and consume billions and billions of dollars.One must remember the getaway team struggled to get most of london.At the time it was the biggest accomplishment geographically in the history of games!
Of coarse true crime had lot's of LA mapped but they didn't do a photo recreation of the entire city like the getaway.San andreas took things to the next level but still were not able to do the entire san andreas.

I'll add to that tycobb. True crime New York city had all of new york city or most of it. Depending on how good of a cop you were the city would look good or bad. Example city all mucky and dirty, falling apart. If you were good the city would look new, clean, not falling apart.

It'll be similar to other gta's.As far as what it's about I'm sure it will have a new story line or maybe tie in san andreas somewhere but we'll have to wait and see.
for it's release date i'll just take from hades post

Yea I agree, and I don't know about you all but imo I don't think you can get tired of it, even after you beat it you can always have a craving to go out and kill some people, lol.

GTA isnt getting old to you guys? saints row and new games like that are a breath of fresh air to me they have a differnt feel to them. I stopped playing gta when san andreas came out and they turn ur guy into a little pet where u have to feed him and all.guess my question is kind of stupid but hey figured id ask neways

Well, I'm not saying that I still play it all the time or anything but I just ment that every once in a while I still get an urge to play it, it's just one of those games I still havent got tired of yet. Actually I don't play San Andreas that often, I like it alright but I just don't like it nearly as much as GTA3 or Vice City (which were the games I was refering to when I said I wouldn't get tired of them). But I don't know maybe I would have liked San Andreas for Xbox more, I herd it was better for xbox, concidering (imo) some games are better on different consoles than others, for example I liked GTA3 for PS2 better than the Xbox version, but I like some other games for xbox better than the PS2 versions.

I think the xbox version was better.You could add your own music which was tight.Other than that they were almost identical to the naked eye.
I don't play it all the time but it is such a good game and the story grabs you .Sometimes I bust it out just for the hell of it.You know, for old times sake..

Only way GTA gets old is if u play every single day for 12 hours since its release or if u just loose interest in things easily.

Lol i disagree i have an addictive personality. I played san andreas straight for a month or so. I didnt go out. On many days i didnt eat for the whole day!
But was it worth it?
