hey do you guys think everything in the new city of this gta should be accessable? such as being able to enter any house, complex or apartment building without having any load times.

Plus what do you guys think would be the perfect controls for the plane mechanics if you were lets say a developer. come up with many ways to control the plane and what buttons should be used. And may come up with other control designs for other vehicles in the game.

Peace Out!

i think not everything should be accessable, such as average homes. what should be are things like all supermarkets and other retail stores, aswell as most of the skyscrapers.

for the plane, i think the ps3's tilt will do nice for the flight control, and everything else can be used for anything else like firing and speed. and they need an awesome new auto-pilot mini-map screen where you select where you want it to fly.

But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

the larger the game is, the less it will look good, considering how much space they would have to make look good.

I hope that the ps3 does not have load times every time you go in a house. It would be cool if it didn?t have to load. Of coarse it's on the ps3 so it may load faster or won?t have to load some parts that usually would have to like going in houses and stuff like that.

umm.. bluray? remember tho, this is being release for the 360 first, so it wont take up much space. dont ecpect a large game. if the game is large, i expect the ps3 version to look much better since all the space the dvd's for 360 have will be taken up with the wireframing, textures, and models, so compression would be a must and it would look uglier that its competator version.

theres not gonna be much difference between the PS3 and 360 versions of the game. I doubt early PS3 games will take full advantage of blue ray anyways. Maybe the next GTA after that will be huge on the PS3 and might not even come out on the 360 at all since it wont fit or maybe multi DVDs... just my guess.

PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

I know one game that will use Blu-ray to the fullest or will be using Blu-ray to store a lot more things on it. Resistance: Fall of Man. They are using the one disc world wide it has all the countries and versions of the game on one disc. I thought that was pretty cool.

you missunderstand me, what i meant was that even if blu ray can fit the whole of america as a gta game does not mean it will look good, the devs still have to put as much work into every single block. thats why games like ping pong and fight night round 3 looked amazing (less area to cover)

also i think that if gta 4 releases on xbox 360 just as good as the ps3 version and on one disk, then even if gta 5 is twice as big it will still remain on one disk b/c its just a matter of R* becoming more familiar with the xbox 360, ogo making it capable of fiiting everything on one disk and still looking just as good.

i dont know why sony gave them up. but the series is losing interest in me. i dont mind that my vice city doesnt work, my san andreas has been in my gf's possesion for many many months, but gta3 still owns. they tried to get too complicated as the series continued.

san andreas took too much out of you and after the novalty of bikes and planes wore off the game started to bore me. to this date i never finished san andreas. i got all the way to having a few missions left and never picked it up again.

vice city was fun for a long time, but i guess it just doesnt have much to keep you interested over the years.

gta3 is just fun, you can pick it up and rampage at any time. you can have fun thru story mode endlessly, kill everything in sight, have a hell of a time with the advanced police levels, and it was pretty simple for being what it was.

one of my major hopes with the oncoming gta4, lighten up on the complications. i didnt like all that fat, muscle, gf, stamina, blah blah sh*t. tho i did like the way accuracy would increase as you use a weapon often. a smaller hope of mine would be the use of ragdolls and better animation. when you shoot ppl they twitch and the deaths are ugly and unrealistic, almost like ut:goty.

Ive heard the same thing, that it will simultaniously release on both platforms. But then when I heard people saying it would be released for xbox 360 I said "WTF!". I then searched as many sites as I could, but I found no info on GTA4 being released on xbox 360 first. So my big question is where did that info you guys heard come from? I mean seriously where did it come from.

Peace Out!

clothing was cool, but changing took too long. i dont think the game should be so real that its just as tedeous as real life.

I think the game needs to be more complex in order to make it seem like the next gta game. It need's to have more stuff and when it does it will get more complicated. I liked fat, muscle, driving ability, sex appeal, love, etc. It made the game more interesting. I just didn?t like how you could loose muscles and gain fat in the game because it take too much work every time your muscle goes down and you?re fat goes up. That?s just my opinion.

yes, something new. they need to strip it of what wasnt liked and throw in some new innovation. just please, rockstar, things should not have to be tedeous for me when im trying to relax and play. who wants to keep running to the gym every day when its just a game?

They won?t bother trying to do something new because it will sell a ton of copies. Everyone will buy it anyways.
