well i liked vice city much more than san andres, and i too am bored with the series, but i want to see what R* will do on next gen systems and how they will implement xbox live and ps3 online.

they better have something fantastic, because the series is losing interest.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

Well it will look a lot better probably since it is going to be on the ps3/ xbox 360. But they always at a lot of things new to the series just look at vice city and then san andreas, san andreas had a lot more "stuff" and "things" in it.

omg i use those words all the time when telling people what im doing when they are being nosey..
but yeah, they could have had bikes and motorcycles and planes (excluding the dodo) in all the games since 3, but they didnt so they could save it for the next release.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

LOL. But yeah they always add more thing's( e.g more cars, more vehicles, improved graphics and more). But it depends on what they will have in the new gta because different city's will have diferent types of things (e.g Japan would have different types of cars then America).

after this release, there will be little left to cover that would get repetative.
so, in leiu of new material, gta 5 will be deemed "gta:in space". takes place 350 years into the future. you can float around endlessly and jack passing space ships. you can land on the moon and golf! many new things to do and see.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

You know what anubis66. You should work for rockstar. That is the best idea I have ever heard since ice-cream. Space now why didint I think of that :S (adding on to the space idea's. There could be aliens that you have gang wars with. That would be Sickk)

i cant help but think thats sarcasm. but yeah alien gang wars, fighting for the sea of tranquility up on the moon. there could be a part where you are up in space flying with a hyper drive in the solar system, and you can pilot yourself to any planet and land on it. some you cant visit because you dont have a landing permit (like how you couldnt go to stanton in the begining of gta3. you could also fly to a part of the astroid belt, and as a mission given by the biggest crime leader in the solar system, you could infultrate a hidden pirate outpost that is messing with your bosses income.

And you could take over worlds such as gta III. gta vice city, and gta san andreas. Sigh I doubt this will ever happen in a million years. (rockstar making a gta alien like game, that is)

the chances are that it's just going to expand on teh series,they wouldn't majorly change it...i wonder at this point how far they are actually into production..? are they still at the drawing board??? or have they started actually making chracters,drawing sketch art,maybe some programming,i dunno,anybody know?????????????????

You can bet they are deep into production at this stage.In fact most of the games part 2's are in developement as soon as the first one is released etc.
Look at cod3 for instance.

yes they have had all this time to get done,but one must remember that the ps3 dev kit has been around not that long,so the chances are that the actuall game physical programming could not have worked till recently,when they had the final dev kit...my guess is that by say June next year they will have a final copy of gta4..locked up somewhere in Rockstar north studios...ahh i wish i worked there!!!

I also think that's a great idea, but I would bet that R* won't make that type of GTA for a while yet

Yeah thats what destroy all humans is for. Exept gta would expan on it so much more plus you would not be an alien (in the gta version) you would be shooting the alien.

Yeah then John Picard (star treck) would come down with his "Enterprise" and kill you. But just before you die Darth vader (star wars) saves you. Like really "clingons". Did you know they actually have a language for them (and I thnik it actually works too!)
