ok guys here's the deal. I did a complete backup with AnyDVD and shrink. I didnt remove anything. disc worked great and choose your fate option worked perfect and I even got the icons on the screen. When I tried it on my Toshiba it worked fine, Sony too, but when I tried on the cyberhome player I didnt get the icon and still had to push 1 or 2? Can't figure that one out, lol!
On a side note, did anyone see the confiscated camera files from frankees camera? I accessed it on my pc but not sure how to get to it from the dvd? I am thinking its hidden in the menus or it might be something with the interactual dvd player if so then I won't be installing it! LOL

@spidermn,
From Wikipedia: Warning, could be a spoiler for those who haven't seen FD3
Frankie Cheeks: At the drive-thru window, viewers can make Wendy honk the horn again.
The Change: Wendy honks again, infuriating Frankie, who promptly turns around. Wendy spots him and as she and Kevin escape, Kevin pulls him out.
This also causes a few alterations to the remaining film. Upon seeing the picture of Frankie next to the fan, Kevin and Wendy refer to what could have happened to Frankie had they not saved him. Later, when leaving the police station, Kevin walks by a police car that pulls up, and Frankie is dragged out of the car under arrest. Viewers are then asked if saving Frankie was worth it:
By choosing "yes" the DVD unlocks hidden footage of police evidence that consists of Frankie?s home movies, including what he filmed at the amusement park.

Grrrr.......the ORIGINAL does not play correctly on my Toshiba SD2200, not even the theatrical version. Crap, I missed half the movie. If I hadn't found that link from Wikipedia, I would have never known. LOL I thought it was rather short.
Cincyrob, it's Alliance Atlantis production.

try pressing your number 1 button or number 2 button on the remote for your DVD player, 1 is heads, 2 is tails, 1 is left and 2 is right. Works for me on my Toshiba. Didn't work with my original either, nor my DL copy, nor my shrink copy, Philips, all work, Samsung, all work, Sony all work. Haven't tried it out in the wifely mini-van player from hell yet, maybe later.

blivetNC,
How old is your Toshiba? Pressing yes or no, the outcome was always the same LOL. Theatrical version, skipped everything. I didn't even get to see the girls fry until I put it on a different player. I will try the 1 or 2 option. How frustrating.
Btw....anyone that goes to the PNE, that is the roller coast at Playland. Been on it a few times myself. This is going to be great when I tell my 20 something kids and their friends. Oh....I'm soooooo not nice!

Nope.....1 or 2 does the same as pressing yes or no. BTW, I get the icons on the original. Skips entire scene and then goes to next chapter. If I go fastforeward and then reverse, I can view the missing scene. What a pain!
Hopefully, Alliance Atlantis will correct this so it works in all players.....wishful thinking. They must know they have a problem as Toshiba is a well known brand.
I have been through replacing my Toshiba Dvd player and ended up returning. The picture and sound quality were never as good. I also like the twin drawer feature that mine has.

My Toshibais the cheap A$$ $29.99 HHGregg model, plays anything I throw at it, it plays the original the same way it does the DL back up and a 42% CloneDVD2 back up.

the option to choose their fate basically..i will reback this one up again in the full disc mode because the choose their fate option only worked for me on my computer using my mouse ...my stand alone dvd players would not highlight heads or tails either....

amazing how many people are having trouble with this one movie working on the original eh? This could have been a good marketing ploy to have people buy the DVD, if only it worked properly...

I think I know how I lost my system restore was because I swap out hard drives so the restore is not transfered from the orignal drive (Micrsoft)but the movie says it has special features for the PC and when I shut it down to run it through Shrink I had to stop it from getting online with my firewall. I made a copy of just the main movie and this one still had legos but they only showed up this time in the credits not the movie good enough for me

I made a copy of it yesterday and had no problems with the "choose their fate" feature in my Philips DVP642. I used DVDFab then DVDShrink. Shrink wouldn't read the disc at first so I had to rip it with Fab first. Kept only English subtitles, DTS audio and commentary. Copy looks and sounds great!
