when i burn using DVD Shrink and Nero 7.0 the movie will go well for a while then freeze up. what can i do to fix this

You need to remove your email addy it is a against forum rules, you don't want a bunch of spammers after you.
If you are having freezing/skipping/pausing or pixellation on playback, it can be from bad/cheap media, burning too fast, or out of date firmware. If you are having problems on your burn itself then post the bad burn log from Nero. It can be found in Program Files and then Nero/Core/Nero History, or something like that I use Nero 6.

Mr_Pink..... I'm with you. For all those who are having skipping, freezing, and pixelations.... starting off with good media is essential! here is a media guide that will show you what's good and what's not so good:
http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm rule of thumb is get the Made IN Japan (MIJ) disks.... you can't go wrong with that! Then do as Arniebear advised you to do: burn slower, usually at half the rated speed of the disk (if it's an 8x disk then burn at 4x!). And if you have a Nero history log then please post it so we can see where it is you're having the trouble! Good advise to burn by!
