I got any error message that says it failed to copy because of cyclic redundancy check. I do not know what that means. Sometimes when DVD Shrink dose not work to back up a CD I use DVD Decrypter. This time niether program would copy the disk. Is it possible that the CD could be scrathed or is it something else. Has anyone out there had the problem of the programs going so far and then stop and refuse to copy.

I was having this error and it can mean two things.

1.Your DVD is scatched and you should try to clean it and try it again.

2.It protected by a new copyright protection. Try Ripit4me. That should do the trick if it doesnt that means you have #1.

Best bet is to clean it.

1. DVDFab decrypter(Free)

2.VOBblanker(Free) Not always needed

3. DVD shrink(free) or Nero Recode2(NOT free)just as good if not better

4.Dvd decrypter(free) or IMGburn(free) or Nero Burning Rom(NOT free)
