hi i'm new to this DVD Shrink stuff i was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem. i've got my VOB files in a VIDEO TS folder but i can't seem to find them when using DVD Shrink. i click om the VIDEO TS folder all i get is a message saying "can't find specific file" if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

what dvd title are you working with? what software did you use to get the VOB files to your hard drive? if you used dvdfab decrypter and VOB blanker, shrink should be able to recognize the files and process them. more info please... and ripit4me should do the job too, as per gogochar's post.

the VOB files came from a tv program i downloaded so they were already there. as i said i'm knew to this kind of stuff

hmmm. internet downloaded video is not an area that i am very familiar with at all. though most i've seen are in AVI format. can you play these files on your computer? if not, they are likely corrupt. if they do play correctly on your computer media software, then i'm not sure why shrink won't recognize them. someone else will have to assist you. and as i mentioned (and gogochar mentioned) you can try running them through fab/vobblanker or ripit4me prior to attempting to use shrink...
