guys,
i tried ripit4me and it blanked out chapters 1-4 with black yes black you heard me right its all black and i cant see nothing

assume you used some decrypter prior to shrink, like dvdfabdecrypter? might need vobblanker too. make sure your decrypter is up to date version. as per dialysis 1, ripit4me should do the job too.
edit:
@arniebear: we were writing at the same time... didn't mean to duplicate any of your post.
@camaro61: it's also possible (since ripit4me didn't seem to work) that the dvd has some new encryption. since a lot of us won't be able to get that dvd until next week, we won't know the specific details until then. did you use both dvdfabdecrypter and vobblanker?

You just stated that you got a CRC error, not that the program blanked out cells. There is another thread on this movie and others have been able to rip it. Since this does not come out retail until next week it is hard to comment on it.

i tried the latest beta of dvd fab 2.9.8.2 b3
chapters 1-3 are blanked with nothing i cant see anything at all, all black and no movie =*(
what kind of crapola is this?

Did you use RipIt4Me with DVD Decrypter? And your DVDFab is out of date, the newest version is 2.9.8.3

as per arniebear's post, the latest version of fabdecrypter 2.9.8.3 is dated today, so i suspect it's been updated to handle some new encryption wrinkle that appeared on tuesday (at least that's the release day in the u.s.), quite possibly to deal with "inside man". give it a try and let us know if it works.
