i have been using DVD Shrink and i did everything that the guide told me but once i clicked backup and i went through the process i dont know how to find that movie i backuped and then put it on a dvd to watch through my dvd player

Where did you put your output file, did you save it to your HDD, and in what format an iso or VOB? Do you have DVD Decrypter/ImgBurn or Nero or some other program to burn as Shrink does not burn it only will rip and compress.

i dont know what HDD,iso or VOB is im new and have no idea what im doing i have downloaded DVD Shrink and ANY DVD but i save my movie in my own folder and all i wanna do is now burn it on a disk

If you saved your movie in your folder then it should be there, what program do you have to burn this output file with. Go look at the output folder and see if you have an iso extention or a VTS file.

i have a sonic dvd burner and when i try to burn a couple of my movies it wont because it has a protection so ive been downloading heaps of stuff but do you know any program i can burn protected movies without having to be a computer genious


i tryed to backup my movie again and now when it has finished doing the backup it just exits and then i cant find the movie
what do i do

Make sure you check in Shrink that the enable burning with Nero is unchecked. Open the program go to the edit tab, preferences, the I/O tab and uncheck the enable burning with Nero. Backup you DVD and on the backup screen choose iso ouput and then browse and choose a folder for that output. You can then burn your file with the free program DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn or your Sonic should burn iso files.



If you are unsure where your other output files went after shrinking then do a Search of your HDD, just type in iso and search and then VTS and see if the files show up.
