I tried to copy Cassanova and Flight Plan and got CRC errors...I tried several originals...
...also I tried Zorro The Legend and couldn't get any response when clicking Open files.
Otherwise, my Shrink and Nero work fine when burning.

What program did you try ripping with? If you only tried ripping with Shrink, then this is most likely causing your error. Try ripping the movies using DVD Fab Decrypter, then run through VOB Blanker, and then open with Shrink and burn with Nero. If you have Any DVD, rip with Shrink with AnyDVD running in the background. I have been able to successful back all my movies using the combination of DVD Fab Decrypter, VOB Blanker and Shrink.

Did you even have to ask what program he was using? We saw a multitude of posts concerning these movies.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

I know, but we see so many posts about so many movies, I just do not memorize them all. :) Plus, I was just trying to give some good advise without saying....use the search option. :)

Thanks for the advise everyone...looks like I have to learn to use 2 or 3 more programs (DVD Fab Decrypter, then run through VOB) besides Shrink and Nero to burn those more encryted movies...or whatever causes some to be harder than others...

Is this problem with every disk you try to backup or just a few? Make sure you have enough space on your HDD, minimum you need is 15g. Do a Virus Scan, Spyware Scan and a Defrag. No mulit-tasking while you are doing this, Shrink is CPU intensive it utilizes 100% of your processor.
