Hello all.... i just downloaded the current version of Imgburn 2.0.0.0. It ask me if i want to replace DVD Decrypter as my burning software, i answered "YES". According to what i read, this is a replacement for DVD Decrypter which has not been updated for quite sometime, also the author/writer is the same group of people who created DVD Decrypter.

The question...on DVD Shrink Back-Up DVD "window", how do i change preferences FROM Iso Image File & Burn with DVD Decrypter TO Iso.... & Burn with Imgburn.

Or does it burn automatically with Imgburn altho it "says" DVD Decrypter as the burner.

No additional setup should be needed. When you select ISO image file and burn with DVD Decrypter it should automatically open Imgburn for you instead of DVDD.

Brattboy: DO NOT delete DVD Decrypter. Although it can still be found if you look closely on the web, downloads of the program are not as easy to find as they once were.

DVD Decrypter works with DVD Shrink in removing some of the more difficult protection schemes. Actually, since Sony is now putting "Fake Blocks" and little things like tiny cells and references to VOB files that do not exist, you still need DVD Decrypter.

So, I suggest downloading Ripit4me and also FixVTS. Ripit4me is a free program that automatically runs Decrypter/Shrink, and FixVTS to give to a disk image that can be copied and played on your DVD Player. If you Google all of those programs you can find the download.

But by all means DO NOT remove Decrypter: You STILL need the ISO READ Mode that is absent in ImgBurn.
