i cut the 2 wires but now the ps2 wont load?not even teh browser screen nothing i turn it on and its black! i tried my otyher ps2 and they worked ??!!

hmm maybe some fuses have blew. the fuses are marked on the PS2 motherboard starting with PS.. theres are a lot

what!!!!! noo i didn touch any of the fuese all i did was cut the 2 wires and then put them under the chip so they were out of the way thats all and then i re assembled?! what am i doing wrong? and the fan spins and the lights on the switch are stil there ts just it ton't come up on the tv screen ! i put the same wire into my other ps2 and it comes up?

well if u have another ps2 try swapping lasers as it may be the chip which is affecting the gameplay and format

Remove that modchip and check all your fuses on the PS2 mobo on the side with the modchips. Check with a multimeter

Just use a soldering iron. Most electronic stores have them for about $10.

Its better to just unsolder them. When u get a soldering iron get one with 15 watts. And dont hold your iron on the pads too long or u might lift up a pin or destroy it.
