New at this!! I am trying to backup RV and everything goes ok but where is the main movie? Using DVD Shrink. I see the title 22 but it is only 1,070 MB. Does not seem to be a file there big enough to be the movie?

Welcome to the forum. After you rip the DVD to the HD using DVDFAB Decrypter you then need to use VobBlanker to correct any structural problems. After that you can then use Shrink on the corrected files as you normally would. Any Problems post back w/ the questions.
Somehow I unsubscribed, don't know how I did it. Vobbanker seems a little difficult for me to use. AnyDVD is a good program. Anyway RV is the first movie that has given me any problem. I have not given up yet!!
yeah, vobblanker has lots of options to do lots of things, BUT for your purposes (at this point, i.e. get a full dvd file that will run through shrink without errors) all you really need to do are 1. select the input folder (the VIDEO_TS folder located within the dvdfabdecrypter output folder), 2. select the destination folder for the vobblanker output folder (perhaps a NEW folder (RV) within a new folder ("vobblanker temp"), 3. in the upper "Title Set" window, to the right side, click "Proc. All" (process ALL the VTSs), 4. click "Process!!" at the very bottom. hey, even i can do it! in about 5 minutes you'll have a file that will be liked by shrink! sometime when you aren't rushed take another look at the guide and you'll see how easy it is. it looks like a lot of information, but it boils down to the four points above. if you want to start editing things, then it can get a bit more complex, depending on what level you are editing at (vts, pgc, cells).
you can't go wrong with AnyDVD. it's frequently updated and many people swear by it. the only downside is that it costs a few dollars.

If the VobBlanker is too complicated for u there is a simpler program called FixVTS only three steps in it and it fixes the dvd.

just open the Video_TS file in the folder u ripped and press full dvd, thats it the program will make a new folder for u to use with shrink.
Also make sure u have the latest version of DVDFab 2983
