Hello I have been copying DVD for about two months now. I have been using DVD Shrink 3.2 and some sony DVD+R blank disc. DVD Shrink ecodes all the dvd's but when it comes times to burn the disc with Nero a message comes up telling me I have the wrong media that I need a DVD-R. Why am I getting this message I have made a few backups using the DVD+R. Are the DVD+R no good anymore? I would hate to loose the pack I bought, are DVD-R better? Please help me out with this problem, any and all help would be appreciated.

Thank You

Typically users prefer +R for booktyping abilities, but all discs are not created equal. Run this program and copy and paste the results here:

Discs should be fine, but your firmware is out of date and may be why you are making coasters.

Burning too fast, keep it to half the rated speed of the media.

Have you tried to create an ISO with DVD Shrink and burn with Imgburn?
