the whole piont of this thread is that so ppl tell other ppl about there psp brickings and how they happend so that no 1 will fall for the same mistake as others did, so let me kick this off by how i bricked mine, i did mine by updating to 2.6 and the battery was low so it shut off, i charged it after i turned the screen on but i didnt hear the sound or see the screen turns on

The way ipirate talks about it is the only way u can brick it is from using some homebrew that works with flash. You can also brick your psp during a firmware update from sony, its flashing too but, dont ever pull out the memstick or battery, or UMD if you're updating from UMD. dont pull out the ac adaptor either.

I bricked my PSP by dropping a brick on it . lol just kiddin, really, I tried the downgrade 2 memory stick method for Firmware 2.80 and sadly my psp wouldnt start, it was just blank. Dont fall for shit ( excuse my language ) people put up on the sites because my PSP was just 2 months wen I bricked it. It died a young age.

By the way ? wouldnt it be possible to " Unbrick " ? well I know how. Take it to a PSP repare guy and he can replace the MB ( mother board ) for 99 US dollars or 90 euros. saw this somewhere on the net, dont remember where .

Well i sadly joind the BRICK family tonight i achived this buy attempting to downgrade from 2.71 to 1.50 with the new downgrader looked very promising but didnt work out im not sure what happend im guessing that the chip that gets flashed on the psp might have been dodgy as it was won out of a skill tester and it all ready had 1 dead pixel and a few that were stuck from the day it was won so the screen was dodgy. OR I FUC*D UP but im sure it wasent the files i used any ways im just asking DOES the memory stick light normally flash none stop when a Brickd psp is turnd on?
all funn in games

i heard that you can unbrick your psp by taking out the motherboard battery for a while and put it back (not the battery that powers the psp the battery that powers the motherboard)the motherboard battery is like a magnet that recieves information of signals

that wouldnt work. if u had a corrupted file in flash or deleted a needed one taking the battery out wouldnt put it back. would be nice tho.
