well i just got that info on a site my psp never got bricked cause i never risked bricking it and i wouldnt know cause i couldnt try it

In my case, I was beginning to pay a ISO but the game suddenly freeze and the it turned off, I turn it the back on but nothing happens, the green light turns on but nothing else happens, after a couple of second it turns off, it is bricked?, if not how can I fix it?
this is what happend:
1. The game loads
2. I press start
3. I ask for the name of the player
4. When I try to write I notice that is frezed
5. The PSP shut itself off
6. And now is dead.
NOTE: the ISO is in CSO format and I have used devhook emulating 2.71FW

Remove you battery and put back on.
Try turning it on.

Something strange happen, I tried to turn it on (again)... nothing happens, I connect it to the power adapter, it charge for 15 minutes, I unplugged it turn it on and it turn on but after the Sony computer entertainment appears it freezes, now I'm more lost, it bricked, it almost bricked, I don't know I turned off put the memory stick that I was using (with devhook) to see if it searches for something on that but now it happens the same thing than before, nothing and after a couple of seconds it turns off. What is happening!!!!

It sounds semi-bricked( thats if there is is such a thing ) to me if its freezing and turning itself off. My advice to you is if you still have your warranty, get it fixed ! but just before that, take off devhook or anything moded for your PSP such as ISO loaders , Devhook, etc. If you dont , youll have to pay to get it fixed since you busted it. And as well, if they see you have illigal ISOs on your memory stick, youll pay a fine so big , the money paid , i could use to go to L.A and back for a holliday. So, just copy a copy of your " PSP " folder, and format your memory stick coz they will have to examine for trojans and , hmm,your good to go. Just hope your worranty is still vaalid tho coz you wont have to pay a dime to repair.lol....

and dont forget if u have corrupted files in ur psp which u cant delete ( i had some in the dh folder) use the corruption fixer in psp hax works like a charm

Thats right. Who would wanna pay for a repair when they have a warranty. Its your only tool ! Now get your PSP fixed.

yea when i first had my psp i tried to make a homebrew game and bricked it and took my ms out and gave it to sony but couldnt find the receipt and had to pay $89 to get a fixed without a receipt but that was long ago when i was a child lol

lol thats bad luck even mine got spoilt not bricked i was a kid and i thought i did something really bad but it was just the joystick and i changed it.. i was suppose to pay 120 ?!! my friend did something wierd to it they charged him 80? i think he had the same problem and was so dumb to pay :S

there is no way off unbrickig ur psp wot u could do is buy a modchip or buy a new motherboard or sell it off to hexitnow or stuckonit

If you have custom firmware installed before you brick your psp in some cases you can unbrick it.

i bricked my psp using x flash well it is called a "partial" brick

i never tried x-flash so i dont know wot u mean but my mate tried x-flash and he bricked but hey i made a couple bucks for installing his motherboard

I now have proof that custom firmware can unbrick your psp i just helped fanghi unbrick his and it worked. Ask him so this is a tip to everyone messing around with the psp's flash, Install harley G's custom firmware or any other kind
