Ive made a mulitple other sucessful back ups, first time ive got this message. BTW this is a DL disk, just trying to either shrink it or get it to my HDD
If AnyDVD doesn't work for you, there are other methods you can try. The first method is using DVDFab Decrypter and VobBlanker.
STEP 1: Rip the DVD using DVDFAB Decrypter.
STEP 2: Process the VIDEO_TS.IFO file you got from DVDFab Decrypter through VobBlanker.
The rest should be simple. Just run DVD Shrink or Nero Recode and open the files you got from VobBlanker.
Hey thanks everybody for the help!!!!! 300bowler i D/L DVD fab and Vob Blanker and then followed the fantastic guide from alKohol. WOW what a breeze! thanks again!! you guys are great!!
Hi all. I've also had problems with backing up "When a stranger calls" using AnyDVD 6.0.8.0. I uninstalled it and re-installed vers. 6.0.7.0 Thereafter I had success using CloneDVD2 along with this version of AnyDVD. I subsequently tried to back up "Freedomland" and was then unsuccessful. Uninstaling AnyDVD 6.0.7.0 and re-installing vers. 6.0.8.0 solved the problem. It appears that as AnyDVD is updated, the older versions of the Sony Arccos are not supported correctly. So my advice would be to try different earlier versions of AnyDVD should some (especially Sony Pictures titles) give problems.
