I've used the DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink numerous times with successful results, so this question might be a little more advanced. After ripping DVD files with Decrypter, there are times when I run the DVD Shrink analysis with the Stream Selection preferences set to AC3 audio and subpicture language disabled in order to minimize compression, then realize I didn't have to do that and try to add all audio and subpicture preferences back in. DVD Shrink then says the file size is too big to burn to the DVD, when if I'd enabled all audio and subpicture preference for the initial analysis, DVD Shrink would have compressed the files enought to fit on the DVD. (I burn to a single layer DVD, but that's not the problem.)

Is there a way to get DVD Shrink to do a new analysis? I've tried everything I can think of, and nothing works. I think if I re-rip the files in Decrypter, DVD Shrink is still going to apply the same analysis as before.

Any suggestions? Is there a file associated with the initial DVD Shrink that I can delete so that it has to re-analyze and compress the ripped files? (Note: deleting the DVD Shrink "AnalysisResults.xxxxxxxxx" files from the system does not seem to work.)

i believe if u re-rip the movie to a different folder than it will do a new analysis.

You can delete the analysis files. This folder can get quite large over time so it's a good idea to clear this folder from time to time. It's located in:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\DVD Shrink

If you cannot find this folder, it may be hidden. To view, you have to change the folder options. At the top go to TOOLS, then Folder Options. Then click in the View tab and then make sure you have enabled View Hidden Files And Folders.
