Hi BabyCryer

My XBOX 360 came early than I expected.

It is a Samsung drive

Could you please explain fully in step-by-step guide of what to do to hack the firmware.

I need to know the name and version of firmware / programs / software and where to get it from, as there are sooo many releases

How to go about connecting the XBOX to the PC including what equipment or cables to use?

What settings on the PC (BIOS) to enable the XBOX drive recognise

How to back up the original firmware

And finally, how to run the firmware.

How would you know if the firmware has been done correctly? As many people said that the back-up copies is not readable from the drive. Could this be the burning process? Or the actually DVD burner drive / DVD+R disc they are using? Or is it because they have hack the XBOX drive incorrectly.

Please help as you are the person seems to hack the XBOX 360 drive successfully.

hey super you need a dual layer burner because thats the only kind of media that the 360 reads. i recomend the pioneer 111d. have you done any reading? you need somekind of knowlege on this. does ur cmputer have a sata connection cause if not then you have to get one.

I have the SATA cable and is currently connected to my hard drive in my PC, and I do have a spare one somewhere...

What must I do to start? I have done some reading, and some people said you must so something to the RAID settings in the BIOS screen first? But not sure what exactly they are asking me to do. Please advice.

After that, do I switch the 360 on first before the PC, or does that not matter at all?

How do I run the firmware and what version of the firmware do I need, etc...?

I was wondering what the Slax CD Method is? Also what is the latest firmware for the Hitachi drive, and what are the difference between each version of the firmware?

Hey babycryer did you ever find out why you were getting the cammand prompt saying that the the flash21.bat 1234 was not reconized as an internal or external command and not a batch file? I'm having the same problem. I see it says to have it to root c not a folder,hows that done? thanks for any help!

hey micow, my drive wasn't in mode b. Thats all. make sure you extract all the files in your c drive with out a folder
