Hi everyone.

Really hope this topic has not been done before.

I am trying to burn Ice Age and have got through DVDFAB first then VOBlanker and thats all good.

I have done the analysis on DVD Skrink and it wont shrink it any smaller than 4,929MB and gives me the warning that it may not burn.

The original VIDEO_TS folder was 6.42gig which is not all that big considering DVD Shrink was able to do Team America with no dramas and the VIDEO_TS folder for that movie was over 12gig.

HELP !!!!!!!!

Try running shrink again with the the ISO, or Folder with shrink, and it should make it be able to fit this time.

Ice Age has two movies on it both full and widescreen that is why it is bigger than Team America.

There is no DVD that will hold 12g unless it is a HD or Bluray.

Yeah I have tried to run it through Shrink a couple of times with the same outcome.

How do I know what is what on the Shrink screen?

I would really like to get rid of the Widescreen movie and keep the full.

WOW thanks Arniebear for that.

HOWEVER lol I just went to do it and I only have the one option in the main title and its 2,923mb.

The main chunk of stuff is in the extras.

Are you sure you don't have some messed up disk, as this is an easy one no protection or anything on it, and if you do movie only in reauthor there is no compression. If you want the extras and just want to get rid of one of the titles I would then try VobBlanker to do it, as you can then blank out Title One. I have backed up this movie many times and have done both full and movie only and both have come out good, even did one with the old DVDXcopy.

My main DVD Shrink window is

Menus 87MB
Main Movie 1'573MB
Extras 3'268MB

Sounds wrong doesn't it?

I used Vob Blanker as well as DVDFab before I went through DVD Shrink.

I will try the whole process again I think and see how I go

Shrink alone will do this one, the first screen I showed you is the full disk, as you can see it will compress. The finished product will come out good if you use deep analysis.

Glad you got it, this movie came out before they started putting the heavy duty protection on movies, wish they were all so easy. The next Ice Age will undoubtedly be harder. My grandkids have worn this one out, so that is why I have done it so many times. Happy burning to you :)
