DVD Shrink Help!

I had DVD Shrink & Decrypter on my computer for two years then I had to rebuild my hard drive and load everything all over again. I lost my instructions on how to set the two of them up but it used to be very easy to copy DVD's. With the newer versions I'm getting all kinds of errors and I never had to go into Nero to burn anything. I just opened the disc and chose what I wanted to burn then clicked on backup and it poped the disc out when it was done. Can I do that on these newer versions?

Well Shrink (3.2.0.15) and Decrypter (3.5.4.0) haven't been updated in awhile so I'm not really sure about what newer versions you have.

They both can have problems w/ the newer copy protections since they haven't been updated.

What errors are you getting?

The errors you may be getting could be due to the copy protection. So here's some other free programs that you can use.

DVDFabDecrypter/Vobblanker/Shrink:

i have a problem with shrink aswell.....i go step by step the way ur surpose to go with drang and drop,what audio i want ,and all of this is for the movie only re-auther..
every thing goes good but when its done with the backup the file either comes out as "ifo" or the file is blank,and when i try as "iso" i get audio but no video.......any help would be great thx>>

Hi dekan
Sounds like it may be the movie you are doing. Shrink in reauthor w/ some of the newer copy protection looks like it's working but doesn't really.
Try one the programs above.

Glad to hear that did the trick for you!

One thing that will tell you that shrink may not do be doing the movie or it picked the right file is the file size - if it seems small or less than a few gig -chances are it's doing the wrong one.
