So you are saying there is no way to downgrade TA-082 v2.71 to v1.50
well play iso through usb which mean you have iso on PC and connect PSP to pc (using usb cable) then play iso. If yes, this is not a good way. Why can't we downgrade it?

yup u are rite about the usb thingbut you can play in memorystick too.i also do not know whywe can't downgrade to 1.5.they say it is a lot harder to hack it but then there is even a newer one called TA-086.i think i wet my pajamas when heard that crappy news.
ta-082 is totally useless i guess,i would like to change it with my friends one instead coz his at least does not have the ic1003 thing at the back.

yep, I have ic1003 which is TA-082. Well I think I have to return it since there is no way to downgrade it.
Wait a minute, You said I can play iso in the 4GB memory stick too. Which is just like DEVhook on v1.50. If that is good.

this is for all you ta 082 psp users
everything is included noob friendly
just follow these steps:
Format memory stick
open take everything from step 1 and put onthe root on memory stick
Using HenD start DevHook
In the Firmware Menu selected 1.5
When 1.5 boots run psar dumper press x
after its done u should have F0 folder in the memory stick root
copy F0 and save it on the PC
Then again format memory stick
Copy everting from step 2 to root of mem stick
Copy F0 folder to dh\301 folder
launch devhook with HenD
In the devhook menu selected flash install
then selected install configfile to flash1
connect AC adapter
press and hold circle and wait
after that return to firmware menu and there selected firmware 3.01
and start devhook
There you go! Now you have emulated 3.01.

i will buy a psp very soon. As i'm a noob i don't know which model (motherboard) and which firwmare i should choose in order to play isos without any problems.

If the PSP has FW 2.71 or below preinstalled, then it will have no problems with ISOs. All new PSPs in stores have either motherboards TA-082 or TA-086. Stay away from the TA-086 ones. Try to get the TA-082 ones. And if you're lucky, you might find a TA-081 which is the best. There's a thread somewhere that helps you identify the motherboard version, but you need to be able to open the UMD slot in order to find out.

and the easy installer cannot be made coz 3.01 has to be signcheck by your own psp.

Maybe you can create an easy installer with DevHook 0.45 to extract the required files with psardumper. Then there can be another easy installer where we can copy over just the files that we extracted for DevHook 0.51 to work. So there'll be two sets of files. One for extracting files, and one for the real thing.

the guide in this thread is whole for ta-082 an dit won't brick your psp.but flash part is the most important read that part carefully.good luck guys i got to sleep now

well help always comes when u need one rite.but really thanks to dark_alex big time,if not for him.there would not even be an emu 3.01 for us.
forgot to tell u guys one last thing is that if your 3.01 does not emulate then just redo this part
[b]D)booting HEND,DevHook v0.51 Launcher for 2.71 HEN-D,flashing files and booting 3.01
1.switch on your psp then boot HEND in photo then the psp will autoboot itself,if it does
not autoboot and freezes then redo it again.it is normal.
2.go to "GAME" then "memorystick" then boot "devhook0.51 BETA for 2.71
3.now this is the important part,don't miss a word k.in devhook menu choose "FLASH INSTALL"
then choose "install configfile to flash1:".now u will be in a dos-mode like again with white
and red words.
4.press and hold circle button for 1 second then wait,u will see that it is flashing the file
from top to bottom.it takes only 3-8secs to finish.then press and button to exit this dos-mode like
and u will be back to "devhook0.51 BETA for 2.71.
5.the final step,set the settings
umd select:umd disc(can change in devhook,so no need to worry)
firmware: 3.01(ms or flash+ms)
clock cpu:266/133mhz
boot mode:XMB MENU
then click on "start devhook",and wait
choose english and the rest is up to u.
