you'll still be able to play original umds, just when running devhook be sure to set Umd selection to Umd drive, or whatever the one opposite emulation is, then you'll be good to go. And yes, you can put as many iso's on your memorystick. largest stick is 4g, largest game ive seen was 1.6g. some games around 100-300mb so you could put several games of that size onto a 4g or 2g stick.

hi i have a problem when dev 51. every time i try to play multiplayer on metal gear ops my psp gives me an error, saying that there was an internal error. I tested it if there was a problem with the network stuff and tried sending a pic and i couldnt. But when i get out of devhook and tried to send a pic again, it worked. so i was wondering what my problem is?

@incudef if you want to use WLAN features on DEVHOOK you must set the CPU CLOCK to 222/111. try that thing.

I installed henc and devhook on my 2.71 Ta-082 and i didnt emulate the 1.5 it stayed at 2.71 so i formated the mc and did it over again this time hemc freezes every time. tried removing the battery waited 30 seconds 7 times plus 45 minutes of rebooting no more blue . gree . red . screen . what do i do .. ?

i installed everything from the guide on the first page and it works beatifully except one thing... gta lcs and mph gameloader... it freezes. it worked before when i had alex devhook and not this great mod. can anyone please help me? i'm dying to play my gta...

I hate to ask this..but it looks like playing games through usb with devhook 0.51 atm is outta the question right? I was a lil bored and was gonna try it out, bu it seems as if 0.51 doesn't have the option (yet) to support usb games, no?

First thanks kealvalro for a comprehensive and fantastic tutorial for us TA-082 owners. It must have cost you a lot time and hard work.
Probably a stupid question, but after flash install 3.02 as described in the upper text , can I go back to orginal settings (TA-082 Fw. 2.71) only by hard reset my PSP?
And what is the benefit by using 3.02 and dh 0.51 instead of 2.71 emulating 1.5 and dh 046 when playing isos from memorystick?
The devhook K easy installer - is it the Devhook 0.51 0100 multi language version in this installer? If not - is it OK to change it or owerwrite and use the multilanguage version instead? I would like to have the norwegian language support.
Finaly, it is OK to use the US og Jap firmware versions on my European TA-082 fw 2.71 ?

15.Now Click on start and wait.for about 5-15secs it depends on your memorystick speed,now u will be in 3.02. Press "HOME" button to take off the devhook menu.and do the firmware settings then go check your check you "system information" in system settings".
16.Now go to "USB CONNECTION" then in your computer go to your PSP "REMOVABLE DRIVE".
Open "DH" then open PLACE BACK then select the two folders "150" and "271"
right-click" the folders and cut or press (CTRL+X) then go back once and paste the folders here.
delete the folder PLACE BACK after u have placed the two folders in "DH"..
17.delete the files "DATA.PSAR" in your memorystick root
To play iso games in 3.02
1.press "HOME" button then move on "UMD IMAGE" then
2.press right or left then at the bottom of the screen,u will see the image change.
OTHERS:

you don't have to flash your files again after a successful flash...just hard reboot, run hend, and then devhook 0.51 for 2.71 and emulate 3.02.
Proud owner of a Sony PSP TA-082 motherboard running on 2.71 FW HEN-D and Devhook .046 and Devhook 0.51 for 2.71 now emulating 3.02 FIRMWARE.

im using TA-082 with fw2.6
what im asking here is do if i follow the instruction in 1st page up untill my PSP fw3.02 means i can play ISO or homebrew..im relly despert here with my TA-082 and thinking want to sell it and buy another without TA-082..

yeah you will be able to play current games and homebrews if you follow the tutorial. the tutorial allows you to emulate fw 1.5/2.71/2.82/3.01/3.02 on your TA-082

3.02 can run ISO's that require higher firmware. I'm sure you can run ISO's that require higher firmware (firmware higher than 1.5) on 1.5 because I remember I have done it before with Powerstone Collection, but I forgot so if the ISO needs 2.71+ firmware, I use 3.02. I'm just wondering though, how do you run ISO's that require a higher firmware on a lower firmware?
My PSP Firmware History: 2.60 had to return the PSP because it had a dead pixel > new PSP had firmware 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33 > 3.71 M33 with 1.50 kernel

hi all, well i managed to get my psp to work but i had a lot of hassels..
1 tried every version of the installer...3rd version wouldnt run HEND from photo's it would just switch off, i tried it about 12 times every time doing the same thing...so i reformated the card and tried the 1st version of the installer, HEND worked fine but when i got up to the part of running PSAR DUMPER it was not installed on to the psp, so then i tried the 2nd version but same thing...
so what i came up with was i used the version 1 of the installer so that HEND would work then after that i installed version 3 of the installer over the top of the version 1, then i was able to use PSAR DUMPER...everything after that worked a treat...
its running now emulating 3.02 and running images...
so i dont know if it was something i was doing wrong, but this way worked for my psp....
my psp is TA-082, fw 2.71 and original sony 2gb card...
thanks to all who made this installer possible...as i couldnt see the sense in paying half the price of the psp again just for a modchip..

woot woot nvm thanks tehjoker. i tried psp-hacks.com forums and found a easy installer tutorial.
i went ahead and tried it and it workd.
now that i have a 1.5 psp what is the best thing to do from here?
i found this:

its some sort of easy installer. but i dont know much about it. apparently it works for the TA-082 as well
