Actually both the step 14 and 15 of the automatic installer are not very clear. This phrase in Step 15 i don;t get at all "and do the firmware settings" ===> Where, Which ???
For those who succeeded with the automatic installer K version, can you guys ellaborate on steps 14 and on in details.

i cant link you to mine because the one on my guide is for the TA-082

The downgrading to 1.5 is his then the upgrading to OBE-B is mine =S i should just edit the whole thing to make my own im just too lazy too type it all and its basically the same thing a guide is a guide you just change a couple words lmao

sorry for double posting... id just like to clarify what i've said... im on devhook v0.52 with 3.03... i want to go dark_alex 3.02 oe-b to play psx games... please instruct me how to do so... starting from removing 3.03
btw, when i hard reboot, i am on firmware 1.50

I do use fastloader from the DevHook Menu but you need to have it installed first, then run it from DevHook and there you go.

well guys.i am now a 3.02 OE-B user.no longer a 2.71 ta-082 user.but i can still use the program that i have use for 2.71.
there are a lot of benefits using oe-b.coz even if u sem-brick your psp,u can recover it.the is the best of it.
so i guess u have to make your choice.i didnt even use any guide in any forum.i got the downgrading program to 1.5 and the upgrading to 3.02 OE-A>>>OE-B.it is also best if u use an adapter with it just in case.well there is a damn earthquake here in hong kong few days ago.so i cant get online these days.i was going to make a guide for u guys but since touran22 made one then i do not think i need to make one now right.

Maybe i am missing something, maybe all you need to do is just copy files from easy installer to mem card and then just lunch few things.
Can someone explain to me how to get ISO working with easy installer.

Hi Orochi77 - i have a TA-082 2.71, what i did was the instuctions from touran22 here;

and then upgraded to 3.02 OE-A to 3.02 OE-B with the instructions here;

it worked great for me and should for others with these easy to follow instructions

Orochi77: Do you even see the devhook menu? It looks like lines of text over top of the regular psp icons. Press Home on the PSP and see if it toggles it on and off. If not, you don't have it running so start over at step 12. Make sure it reboots at step 12 - if it just freezes, turns off completely, or doesn't reboot, hard reset PSP (hold power button until unit turns fully off, not just a blank screen) and try step 12 again.
Step 15 means: pick "Start Devhook" in the menu and press "O". Then wait until PSP reboots. You will see Firmware Recovery screen that asks you to redo your PSP settings like time, timezone, network name, etc. To do this, you must exit the devhook popup menu by pressing "Home". Press "O" and do the settings. Then go to Settings >> System Settings >> System Information. It should say "System Software: Version 3.02"

i downgraded from 2.71 to 1.5... am i still considered a 2.71 user or a 1.5... do i just format my mem stick to delete my 3.03 devhook v0.52? and install the oe-b from dark alex?
