Anyone able to run 1.5 homebrew on the 3.02 kernel? I know you can make a dir game150 and it works fine, but i want to run homebew under 3.02 kernel because it is a lot friendlier to higher capacity batteries ( 1.50 firmware just shutdown after a few min of playing with this battery , later firmware works fine, for example my psx game run perfectly fine with this battery on 3.02b). In the readme it says 3.02 can run homebew that isn't kxploited, any idea how to change homebew that is already kxploited back? All homebew i find doesn't seem to run at all in kernel 3.02b (and yes it runs fine under 1.50 kernel under game150 dir i know ;)).
thanks

yarg100 Thanks for the tutorials i will check them out as well.
nextbear thank you for your answer.
I did get a devhook screen on top of the blue screen in step 15. I could remove devhook menu by pressing home but I didn;t know on what to do next, because the author didn't specify the action after u press home button.
I did eventually press O and my system shut down, I powerd it on, then the blue screen came up again, after them i pressd O and the default settings were restored.
When i checked system info the firmaware was 2.71 not 3.02 :(
The problem is that step # 15 doesn;t mention anything about the blue screen appearence nor how to deal with it in case it appears.
What did i do wrong>???

yarg100 its scary I thought no one should ever downgrade from 2.71 to a 1.5, Is it a new thing or something. Did it work for you perfectly while being in 2.71 with ta-082 mobo ????

Orochi77: when you saw fw2.71, can you still get the devhook menu or did it get shut down at the blue screen? You should see a blue screen after picking HEND from PHOTO menu, but it should reboot after a sec otherwise if it just stays blue, hard reset and try again. Sometimes it takes 5-10 tries.
If it doesn't work after that, your devhook settings might be wrong. Check what they are and make sure they match step 13 exactly. If that still don't work, reformat memorystick and start over, you probably missed a step from before.

Sometimes with a semi brick, you can put a umd disc in, switch off your psp FULLY, then reboot, see if it boots to UMD, if it does, press HOME, and redo your setup for your psp
PLEASE HELP...!!!!
You're psp is Semi bricked i think

hey guys. . .quick question. . . .ta-082, firmware 2.71, dev hook emulating 3.02. . . .Each time I escape from the iso with the home button (so that I can get to the devhook menu and run a diff iso) I crash and have to reboot. Happens now for every iso. Kind of a drag, but still a small price to pay for being able to run the iso's. Any suggestions for what to do differently so that I can exit without crashing? Thanks. Awesome forums!!!!!!!

I'm having the same problems myself. Everytime I want to quit playing by pressing home, it always crashes then it turns off and then I have to turn it back on run HEND, run Devhook to get back to where I was.
My PSP Firmware History: 2.60 had to return the PSP because it had a dead pixel > new PSP had firmware 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33 > 3.71 M33 with 1.50 kernel

Hey guys. . . I will try not to emulate 3.02 and wil stop at 2.8 instead for now. I hope that stops the crashing when trying to exit to a diff iso. . .
Thanks for the previous help re: shrinking iso to cso. . . last question. I tried but was only able to shrink the iso by like 59 meg. Bought a huge 4 gig card and can barely fit 3 games on it at times. Can I actually take a 1.5 gig iso (which I assume is a total rip of the umd) and compress it to a cso? I'm using umdgen4.0.
Thanks guys.
