A: no downgrader for anything 2.8 or higher
and
B: its TA-082 Motherboard, not harddrive 8-)
PSP -> 2.60 TA-082 + 2.71 - 1.5 + 3.03 OE-A + OE-B + OE-C + 3.52 M33 - 3.40 OE-A + 3.52 M33-4 + 3.71 M33-4 + 4.01 M33-2 w/ 1.50 k = dropped 1ft and lost my PSP permanently

A: He wasn't asking about downgrading to 1.5 he was asking if you can emulate 1.5 with Devhook
and
B: (Quangsta) No you can't emulate 1.5 on 2.81 yet but soon you might be able to in the near future.
My PSP Firmware History: 2.60 had to return the PSP because it had a dead pixel > new PSP had firmware 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33 > 3.71 M33 with 1.50 kernel

Sorry mate, my bad. im just getting pissed off... 3 days now, and not one 1 PSP expert has attempted to even say: no i dont know how to fix it... or anything. i thaught this was supposed to be the big bad thread that they where helping in
Sure lots of people have tried, and i don't wany any of them to take offence to them, i say thanks to those who tried to help me... but..
its still bugging me.

I just got a PSP and I believe I installed Firmware 3.03 - at least that's what I see when I view System Information. Does this mean I'm hosed on using DevHook or any Homebrew apps?

pretty much man, atleast until Dark_Alex and his buddies come out with a downgrade from 3.03 fw to 1.5 fw, sorry.
i got the same problem thing, you're not alone, just be patient im pretty sure they'll crack 3.03 soon or later

I think all the PSP experts have stopped looking at his thread, because a downgrader for 2.71 TA-082 had already been introduced so using HEND is no longer needed.

i got wwe 2007 on ta 082 emulating 3.01 and it runs but it always freezes and the music and everything freezes the game actully works but when i go to screens like exhibition screens it freezes when im playing a match it never frezzes it might after the match is done so i have to take out the umd and restart the psp any tips thanks

you should get torrents from isohunt.com or torrentspy.com they have good torrents, im assuming you know how to download torrents.

well in case you're not......... torrents are basicly just your simple files movies, games, isos, pretty much anything you want it to be.
ummmmmmmmm dunno wat else to tell u man, if u r interested ill tell u how u can download them suckers.

I was just wondering if you can emulate 1.5 if u have firmware 3.0-3.03(I dont have fw 2.81) If yes ikk have to upgrade.

no YOU CANNOT do that. as high as they have went with dowgrades is 2.71 fw so ull have to wait a while before the one thing comes out IF it comes out

Ok !
thanx for the great manual. Playing Snes games kicks ass. But now i tried to play a .cso file with devhook it didn't work. I opened the file with devhook on firmware 1.5 . UMD logo appeard to my games list, but when i clicked it, it said i have to update my system software.. ok. Now i tried to run the .cso with 2.71 and the following settings: 2.xx to 2.00, hend, xmb scr -shot. and there is no UMD -logo in my games dropmenu.... what should i do ?
- Ta-082 emulating 1.5 Snes works but iso not.

If I down a TA-086 2.8 to 2.71, will this devhook works? Will flashing it brick a TA-086 mobo? Brick if using Hend?

yay a TA-082 Mobo user :) someone answer his question for me... so maybe i can do the same.... fucking TA-086... nothing but a pain in the ass.... im deff going back to the old Dev hook...at least i know it works on my PSP.. well..sorta

can anyone help? i tried putting on snes on my psp but when i try devhook and emulate 1.50 it makes my psp turn off.. and i cant play snes.. i did exactly what the guide said to do.. i put the 1.50 dump and the devhook and everything.. what am i doing wrong?
