Hey kealvalro if your into graphics and stuff you might like AutoCad or Catia.I have 3ds Max also, but haven't had time to look at it.I'm taking classes on AutoCad at the moment, but still haven't got to the point on creating 3d models yet.Good luck by the way on 3ds Max,I haven't had the chance to mess with it yet.

Sorry for so many questions, LAST ONE PROMISE!
I just purchased a 4GB memory card for my PSP. I previously had a 1GB card that can emulate 3.02 perfectly.
Can i just move my data on my 1GB card for emulating 3.02 with devhook .51 to my new 4GB memory card?
Or Do i need to get a new "F0" folder?
From what i believe, the F0 folder is specific to the PSP not the memory card. Meaning I would not need to redo the entire process.
Please give me a confirmation, thank you.

Hi
I'm very new to this but I wonder if could ask for some help.
I have recently bought my 2 sons PSPs, 1 is a TA082 and the others not. After a lot of research I have downgraded them both to v1.50fw and then back up to Dark Alex's 3.03OE-B which is great. However when I back up and play one of their UMD disks from their memory stick only the TA082 PSP will allow game saves to be made on certain games, for instance Burnout Legends. On the other PSP it just freezes with a blank, back lit screen at the point of save or load, also some of the games won't even run on the older PSP either with Dev Hook or Fast Loader under IR Shell. I have tried downgrading it back to 1.50 then up to the official 2.71 to over write the flash, then back down again and finally back to 3.03OE-B to no avail. Could anyone suggest anything else I might try, Is there an application to "clean" the flash of any residual data so I could try a clean install?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as these late nights on the internet looking for answers are starting to take their toll!
Thanks in advance.

Or, you could just keep Devhook on your 1 GB memory stick and then after you emulate a firmware, you take out the 1 GB memory stick and put in your 4 GB memory stick. That way, you emulate the firmware with the 1 GB memory stick, and play the ISOs off your 4 GB memory stick. You should be able to do that. I think........
EDIT: I tried it with a non-formatted memory stick but it didn't work. It's not my memory stick so I didn't format it.
EDIT: Just move the folders from your 1 GB memory stick to your 4 GB memory stick. When you do the PSAR Dumper thing it saves the stuff to the flash. So just move the folders needed for Devhook. It should work.
My PSP Firmware History: 2.60 had to return the PSP because it had a dead pixel > new PSP had firmware 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33 > 3.71 M33 with 1.50 kernel

I have a TA-082A 2.61 PSP which happens to have a broken eject button. So I cannot eject the UMDs (I have GTA LCS inside).
Anyways, can i still use the Hend method (the K devhook thing), it says i have to take the UMD out.
If not, can anyboy help me out here and suggest a method so that i am able to play through memstick. (the one which doesnt write to flash0, that is 100% no brick method)
Thanks in advance.

yup updating to 3.03 oe-b is good.
freebeer well dude about your non ta-082 psp that cannot save is most probably the installation try reinstalling it again.try just using the recovery menu to downgrade it to 1.50 then reinstall it back to 3.03 oe-a then b.
hackaday whatz up,anyway best to downgrade your ta-082 to 1.50 then updated to the custom 3.03 OE-A than B.a lot better coz it does not need a umd disk to play a iso game.and the recovery menu is good coz if u have semi-brick your psp u can downgrade it to 1.5 then update it again and plus there is plug-ins that u can change the firmware to 3.02 for some of the games to work

well yup actually, coz once u downgrade to 1.5 then update it to 3.03 oe-B well u get a lot of benefits i think.well it is obvious that u can run almost all games with this current firmware and u do not need to use any umd to play the games anymore.plus if u have semi-brick ur psp u can recover it back

Hi kealvalro
Thanks for getting back, I have already tried back to 1.50 then up to official 2.71, back down to 1.50 and finally back up to 3.03 oe-b, currently he is running it on 1.5 with devhook 5.1 and it seems fine I just can't understand why the TA082 machine works perfect.
is there some sort of app to "clean" the flash memory befor re-writing the firmware, the 1st time I took it back to 1.50 it seemed to hold on to most if not all of it's settings i.e network and nickname.
Thanks again

Well, if your a lazy bum and don't like to run HEND everytime an iso freezes on you go with 3.03 OE-B because its like a built in HEND, but there is a chance you can break your psp upgrading, a small chance. For 2.71 you get a safe non brick psp to play all your ISOs, but if they freeze you have to hold your power switch for a long few seconds and then open it agian and run HEND and Devhook all over agian.
2.6 > 2.71 = 1.5 - 3.02> MY TA-082 MOBO 1.5> 3.02 OE-A > OE-B > 3.10 OE-A > 3.82 M33
3 Days, I advanced from 2.6 homebrew tetris and commercial UMDs to 2.71 Devhook Emulation to 1.5>3.02 OE-A, Its the golden age of hacking

Hi kealvalro and everyone on this forum,
I used the easy downgrader for my 2.71 TA-082 PSP trying to downgrade it to 1.5 and got bricked after it flash the psp at the 1.5 downgrade part. My psp now turns on with a green light and blank screen. The psp does not shut off but stays on. I try turning on with R pressed but no recovery menu comes up. Does this means that it's bricked for good? I read that many people bricked their psp but it shuts off after like 22 seconds. My just stays on. The memory card slot does not flash.
Does anyone has any advice? Thanks

Hi, does anyone has any suggestion on what I wrote above? I know I might hit the dead end...but just want to see what the experts have to say. Thanks.

Hey kealvalro wats up bro I just wanted to say thanks for the site on the tutorials man.The good thing about AutoCAD is that you can create 3D models and integrate it into 3ds Max.I think AutoCAD is quicker for me though, cause this is the second class I took on AutoCAD so I have some experience using it.The pagani zonda c12 project you are working on sounds cool man.The last thing I did was create simple 3d objects using Catia.I was thinking of redesigning a case for the psp a couple days ago,but making a 3d model first.I want to make my psp have the controls of a ps2 controller layout, possibly for ps1 games or something of the sort.I have a logiteck ps2 wireless controller I gutted out,for some reason one of the analog sticks stopped working on it a year or so ago.My goal is to try to add L2 and R2 buttons and a extra analog stick to my psp.My problem right now is just finding the time to do it.Once again I wish you luck bro on the project you are working on.
