id just downgrade from 2.71 to 1.50 & forget about devhook....get yourself a OE, no Iso emulators necissary...

Hello,
I uploaded Darkalex 3.03OE-C and now my psp is acting "Bunked",
-------the volume wont lower
-------the brighting mechinizim doesnt work
-------the screen turns off after a few minutes
------- (but i can still hear the game.)
Anyone got any ideas? It worked perfectly for about a few days
this is it.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but in reading through these messages I still seem to only be getting partial information that's a little hard to follow for someone who hasn't done this successfully before.
Here's my situation. I have a TA-082 2.71 PSP. I want to get to 3.10 OE-A.
I've already bricked one PSP, not being aware of the TA-082 issue, so I want to get this right on this attempt.
Here's what I think I'm supposed to do:
Setup Dark Alex's 'Homebrew Enabler for FW 2.71 (Rev C)'
Once complete - Downgrade to FW 1.5
Once complete - Upgrade to FW 3.10 OE-A Custom Firmware
This gives me the best of all worlds - correct?
Now, do I have to downgrade to 1.5 to upgrade to 3.10 OE-A?
And while it appears that the 'Homebrew Enabler for FW 2.71 (Rev C)'
will work with a TA-082, should I actually still be able to simply downgrade to FW 1.5 after that? That's where my last PSP bricked, though I wasn't using Rev C of the HEN.
Any help would be appreciated.

You seriously need to start making an effort on your part. We have plenty of great folks here thaqt are happy to help you but they're not going to hold your hand the whole way when you won't even make an effort.

Have anyone tried Virtua Tennis 3?
It ask's if you want to upgrade your firmware to version 3.03, i still have 2.71 and the easy installer made by(i think) Kealvaro.

i need hlep whit installing devhook or henc i been on it for a month and still couldn't get it to work. i need hlep bad i did the thing it told me to do but it came out corrupted all the time i have a ta082 whit 3.ll fw someone hlep me

did you check the checksums of the dxar you flashed? that may be why your psp is acting like it is...flash remnents

rocfive, this is for 2.71 TA-082 PSPs, not 3.11 TA-082 PSPs. You can't run homebrew on firmware 3.11, yet...
My PSP Firmware History: 2.60 had to return the PSP because it had a dead pixel > new PSP had firmware 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.52 M33-4 > 3.71 M33 > 3.71 M33 with 1.50 kernel

It can support all games of all needed firmware since Devhook for 2.71 can emulate the latest firmware which is 3.11. To find out how to emulate 3.11 for a 2.71 PSP, visit http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/473705.
