I'm trying to configure DVD Shrink to directly open Nero to burn. I always have to close Shrink and then open Nero and find the files on my hard drive. Could anyone tell me what the trick is to go straight from shrink to Nero?

Open DVD Shrink, go to EDIT.....Preferences.....File I/O...check Enable burn with Nero.

...also if you are using a version past 6.6.0.18 you won't be able to autoburn with Nero as it isn't supported in later versions of Nero 6.
