dvd shrink not backing up

my DVD Shrink is not backing up any original movie files I have. It just blinks and the program goes off. I never had any issues before and then I put this program in called DeCSS v1.2.1b at cdmediaworld a small win32 utility and when I added it on to the original decryptor I had while installing I saw command windows open and mutiple command windows came up during installation of the file and it worked for the movie i wanted to decrypt but, the next day when I tried to backup a movie either with Nero , AnyDVD or dvdshrink I got the issue I explained above. I removed the DeCSS program I even Recovered my computer and reinstalled my programs but nothing helped. Might there be something in the registry that needs to be removed.... can someone please shed some light for me.....

i've found that even after uninstalling a prog, there is always a trailer or two left behind. i now always do a search, and delete manually everything left behind
go...start....search....all files and folders.....under "all or part of the file name" type DeCSS then search. if anything comes up delete all
