It doesnt work with swap magic 3.6. Says "invalid ps2 disc"
anyone have any ideas to get it working? I have a slimline ps2 with a fliptop.

Downloading it now, so cant really help too much. What size is the iso?
And what brand of DVD are you using?

i had to use zone loader with swap magic 3.3 because all i got was a black screen.

Works perfectly with SM2.0
For any other version of SM you MUST use ZoneLoader DVD version from http://www.swapmagicfix.com as an additional swap

I have swap magic 2.0 should i rebuild this game to play it safe or should i just burn it. I dont want it to skip or anything and waste a DVDR. Does it play ok without rebuilding?

Yeah I had to go digging for Swap Magic 2 but it works. I wonder why an older version works when they claim the newer ones are better?

yeah its the same hassle as res dogs was just bang the xone loader in before you insert the back and is fine
(game not that good imo)

swap magic > zone loader>backup >>>>>> and it works :)
soon u will need three disks to get a game to fire lol

Doubt it matters at all, but the ZoneLoader app. MUST be used via burned DVD. For whatever reason, it won't load the Scarface disk if it's loaded as an exploit.

You'll only be wasting your time, there's no difference in size with a rebuild. And it still won't work.
Do as has been advised, and download & burn ZoneLoader to a DVD, then use that!

there is a little size difference with a rebuild . anyway u still need to use zone loader if you rebuild or not :)

I tried rebuilding and using zoneloader but it just froze at the scarface screen. Burnt the original image and it loaded up played the first bit, but sometimes the scenes would freeze unless i "gently" banged my ps2 on the floor.
I guess its just something to do with the disk i burnt it on though

try burning it to a sony at 2x with img burn .Trevildo? what media are u using ?????

Seems to be working fine now, before i used a disk which i had for a while and not sure if it had been damaged somehow but went the shop and brought some new ones and so far it hasnt froze or skipped once.

As anyone tried with hdloader0.8b to see if it worked ? Haven't had much luck running through the hdd.

Doesn't work, regardles of modes. I put the image directly on the HDD with an IDE to USB adapter and WinHIIP, and it never loaded. Haven't tried using HDloader to rip the DVD yet, though.

I tried my back-up right now for Scarface. It didn't run either. I have Swapdisc 3.6
Is there anyway for Swap 3.6 too run Scarface ?

Clearly you can type, but I have my doubts on if you can read!
The solution's been posted about 4 or 5 times in this thread. Try reading it 1st!
