wer r u guys? after following this guide do u have the steps to play iso stored on ur pc? basically its connecting ur psp to a pc. anyone have done it? i really want to play my iso files but i dont have enough space in my mmc.

my custom firmware does exactly that! hold L on start up and you'll get into devhook usbmod. u can also load the usbmod straght from the 1.5 XMB!

Hi all, im new here. Looks like an awesome guide. Just have 1 question (and possible a stupid one) - after installin devhook, can i then play games off my duo memory card?
Theres one thing i hate, and thats paying for things - especially games!

backups are well, better for many reasons, one being able to fit multiple games in a very small space and thus eliminating your gaming clutter. :) or to test the gmaes and find out if there is actually one worth buying or if they are all just piles of crap.
if u can't afford a 4GB card, a 2GB will sufice, but it's upto you, but i would say a 2GB is atleast the minimum u should have if u plan on ripping your own games (rentals or friends or whatever)

oh of course downloading them. OK gonna order my 4gb - but one last question: I have a card reader that is selective of when it wants to work (some cards do, some dont. plus its not just this one card reader - ive had afew) so...Do i have to use my card reader to transfer the games or can u link the psp to the comp and transfer to the card through it?

thanks touran, and everyone else for fast replies. Ordered psp and 4gb card....its just a waiting game now (time to start downloadin games aswel!) haha think of all the stupid ppl that buy games!

touran22 do u mind if u give me the steps on connecting my psp to pc. and wer im gonna enable usb connection?
kaos_king do u think its safe to order thru internet i mean giving all ur account information? how many days it takes for them to deliver ur order?

yes i will be glad..
1.connect to pc throu psp (normal way)
2.load up choas zero devhook ultimate installer
3.choose th option which is like 4-6 options down called usbmod.
4.insatll it
5.while psp is connected to pc through the wire (not through the actual usb connection )load up the Devhook usb mod (on the psp)
6.it will then (on your computer) say found new device. when it asks to find drivers say maualy.
7.when it asks you that navigate to the PSP fodler which will be created in your "My documents"
8.after it installs the drivers, make a fodler called ISO in the PSP folder.
9 put all ISOs and CSO's in there. on usbmod devhook goo into UMD SELECT and choose your iso.
10 Make sure before you go into to UMDSELECT that you go into OTHER and then USB and click on ENABLE USB then return then back to UMDSELCT were your UMDS will be.

Yeah sometimes it can be a bad idea givin stuff out on the internet but play.com is a well known company, and i have used mobymemory a number of times before (mobymemory have a brilliant delivery service, prob get that by mon. The PSP should come on tuesday ish).

I do have another question now... Can i make a 'backup' of say, my mates game if he has the UMD so i can permanatly have it?

but irshell can connect u to pc by wifi no need for usb, and u can play all ur files in ur pc thru psp. can i also do it from c/fw?
