Would not be same as have used Shrink for years.

This question has been asked many many times in the past, so below is what I prefer in terms of "transcoders" and quality.
(1) Nero Recode with Advanced Analysis + HQSR + Assign Best Quality to Main Movie
(2) DVD Shrink with Deep Analysis + AEC + Max Smoothness
The rest (speaking of transcoders), I strongly deem that they're all behind Recode and Shrink.
As for "encoders", there are few out there that does nearly the same job, but some takes longer. When it comes to "quality," nothing else beat DVD-RB Pro + CCE SP 2.70 or ProCoder 2. Some says CCE SP 2.70 is better, yet some says ProCoder 2 is better. I'll say it's just a choice of preference, so I'm the few with CCE SP 2.70 + DVD-RB Pro.
In reality, look around, do some testings and see which is really the one that fits your desire. Good luck.
