dvd shrink saying no disk in drive incorrect function

I have been using DVD Shrink with no probs, and then I flashed my dvd drive with firmware, and it still worked fine. The next day I downloaded the new IE7 and now my drive is showing as a dvd rom instead of a writer drive?

Remove IE7 and see after a reboot if your system goes back to the way it is suppose to be. IE7 is a better browser than IE6 was, however you would be better getting yourself a browser called Firefox at http://www.mozilla.com After you have the browser go back to mozilla and download extensions like Adblock Plus, NoScript, and many more to choose from. You may also download different themes to give your browser a different look.

Another good browser is Opera. You can get it at http://www.opera.com

If removing the IE7 doesn't work please post back and we will try something else.

I restored back to before installing ie7 and all is well now. I use Firefox anyway, but thought I'd download ie7 to see what it is like,thanks for your advice!
