Thanks for the guide. But I need help, please. Look, I followed the guide, and did everything you said. I got the green, then blue screen. Then I can load Hen c, I got dev hook, and I can get to 1.50. But since I made those changes my psp can´t load my Tony Hawk UMD, never, not in 2.71, not in 1.50 emulated. Please help me I´m freaking out.

Hi
If I downgrade to 1.5fw from 2.71 (my2.01 system I jsut brought wont let me play any games until ive upgraded now)how do I still play retail games?

The link is fixed now :D, and what i did is run my ISO's with 2.71, just select the Tony Hawk UMD on the DevHook Menu and run it, place a UMD on ur PSP and it should work ;D, remember u can press and hold the "Home" button and then press "L" or "R" buttons to switch ISO's.
I play all of my games on 2.71 using HENC and DevHook on 2.71 firmware.

Problem fixed with the loading of UMD. Now, I got everything in order. I hard reset, then I start on my natural 2.71. Then I charge the Hen C. Then I open the DevHook Launcher for 2.71. I put the 1.50 firmware and Start. So the error message appears and I'm now emulating 1.50. But then when I try to load DevHook Launcher for 2.71, I get the same error message. So I have to load the other DevHook. And now I emulate a 2.71 from my emulated 1.50. But when I put the UMD disc the PSP freezes. I´ve done this 2 times and happens every time. Everything is ok until I put the UMD, that's when my PSP freezes. Am I doing something wrong??

You now just select the UMD with 2.71, u don'thave to emulate 1.50 to play ^^, just select 2.71, your UMD (ISO), and then start without any UMD Disk on your PSP, then after reboot, place ur UMD Disk and there u go, your iso should be working.

1.Load my HENC and then go to Memory Stick and select DevHook Launcher for 2.71
2.DevHook Main Menu
3. Select my UMD (ISO) to load, in this case i choose Virtua Tennis
4.Select my Firmware 2.71, i choose 2.71 not the 2.71(Flash).
5.Check everything is allright and the press start.
6.After Reboot screen.
7.Place my UMD in my psp (ATV Off-Road Fury) in my case
8.Wait to load
9.There u go, enjoy!

Idk why but i got everything working on mine but when it goes to 1.5 framware the background is white and the letters are red and i cant see n e text

Hi all this is my first post. This site rocks.My son has a psp he's 12 he wants me to do the mod thing. psp was a 2.60 with dreaded ta-082 mother board. yesterday i updated from 2.60 to 2.71 ok.I am wondering if he will have to do the henc thing and the devhook thing all the time when he turns off his psp? he has several umd games now when if I install this mod will he be able to use his games. I understand from reading that you can't you have to go to devhook and setup for to get umd to work like has now just pop it in way to go.he doesn't want to run 1.50 firmware and homebrew. just iso's and 2.71.If I do this mod and he finds it to hard to use can I take it off and go back to 2.71 or 260 where I started without bricking the psp? cansomeone help me with these questions? Thanks

No you dont, if you turn off your psp, HENC and Devhook are still working, to stop it you have make a Hard Reset, this means holding the power button for 4 to 5 seconds until reboot.

No, you have to Hard Reset your PSP so the Devhook and HENC stop working so your PSP can read the original UMD, if you want to play the ISO's later, just load HENC and DevHook again ^^

Almost all the ISO's can be runed on 2.71, i play all of my ISO's on 2.71, i have never use 1.50 for anything.

Yes you can , just formate your Memory Stick, but u can't go back to 2.60 because of your ta-082 MotherBoard. If you tried to Downgrade it , you will brick you PSP for sure.

Thanks you been so helpful. I posted this on several more site and no one like you came back with good info, like yours. I havn't done the henc thing and devhook yet still pondering it over a bit afraid to do it. Thanks again!!!!!!!!

What files don you use? All you need is here folder? When you do the henc thing. Isthe psp then in 1.50? Im confused. Then you go to devhook and select what if I don't want 1.50 just 2.71 emulated where i can use iso's.Can you help?? Thanks

this is a tutorial to emulate 1.50 using devhook, but if you dont want 1.50 just leave the devhook with 2.71 firmware, i use devhook to use my ISO's its the only way to load my games, and HENC is neccesary because of the Mother Board TA-082.
As you can see im playing Virtua Tennis on Firmware 2.71. DevHook gives you the option of everything, you can select from Firmware 1.50 to 2.71

So if I have 2.71FW I only need to download devhook 0.46 and this will enable me to play ISO's. I dont need to downgrade to 1.5FW?

If you have 2.71 you will need HENC and DEvHook launcher for 2.71, HENC is used for the TA-082 Motherboard, and DevHook is use to load ISO's, i don't know if the DevHook 0.46 work in 2.71. I think the only way to use devhook on a psp with Firmware 2.71 is enabling HENC fist the run DevHook 0.4x Launcher for 2.71the one in the pack i made (All you need is here pack)
