shrink programing error

help, i keep getting a programming error on shrink, it says "Programing error - exception occurred the parameter is incorrect" and then after i hit "ok" another window comes up and says "DVD Shrink 3.2.exe - application error the instruction at '0x7c911bf4' referenced memory t '0x00000000'. the memory could not be 'written'. click on OK to terminate the program Click on CANCEL to debug the program.
i have already uninstalled shrink and reinsalled it. that didnt work. i have tried selecting allow I/O in the preferences, that didnt help. i am lost if i try to debug the program
i should also mention that i just replace my harddrive and shrink was working fine before that. it is a brand new AMD 3500+ and hdd was replaced under warranty.
any help is appreciated

Did you test it with movies you have previously copied. Are you ripping with DVD Decrypter first? ISO write mode?

If so, use Decrypter in the File Mode, All Files. Then open it in Shrink by using "Open Files"

Movies with more advanced copy protection can cause all sorts of errors as well, so try it on one that worked before.

Are you using any programs or methods to get past the more advanced copy protection?

am using dvdfab to rip to hdd, and Vob Blanker. havent had any problems with those two programs. and yes, did try with an older movie, scary movie 3, it died at 62% in shrink. when i tried slither, it made it to 84% before crapping out.

are you using latest version of DVDFab Dexcrypter (which is 3.0.3.5) ?

ya, i am. and shrink keeps getting a runtime error without even getting to the burn stage with Nero 6
now i am starting to get runtime errors with yahoo messenger.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!
